after tire rotation

slow day, so I rotated the tires on the car myself at home. The inflation screen on the dashboard though is not showing any numbers now. Is it confounded by my rotation or is there some sort of a reset that I have to do to make it work again?

The insta-Stasi strikes again

I woke up this morning to an alert from the app that an order I delivered was not delivered. Typically unhelpful chat session surfaced the silly dynamic that they will not tell me which order to protect the privacy of the customer. So even if I had been photographing every order I delivered as a safety measure I wouldn’t be able to use them in my defense. The way trust and security operates like a version of the Stasi or Other secret Police is incredibly frustrating. I did five orders yesterday and all of them were leave at door. One customer did meet me and asked me to put the items inside the door and I wasn’t able to get a picture of that batch when I realized I had forgotten to get the picture but all the other ones had photos.

Shipping costs six months out?

Pushing to create my first campaign and tormented by a few details.

Shipping first. How do we price shipping when it won’t be ready for 6 months? The easy ship system is far from easy but better than nothing.

I’m also having problems uploading an image of the product. Every format fails. Image properly sized.

When the campaign is approved are all the content parts locked in or can you update the video or story?

Can rewards be added and can early buyers opt to upgrade? I’m selling a book and I can’t risk having rewards with other items that could eat into the cost of producing the book.

Cart Star is a disaster

I used to not think much about cart star, but This system is screwed up beyond recognition. Last night there was a batch for around $25 I noticed before I got on a support call that was actually helpful, but sadly interrupted by cell service. As I arrived home it had climbed to $48 so a schlepped to the store thinking I had plenty of time to shop. When I arrived there was about 25 minutes in a full size store to shop for about 50 items from produce to dairy. Instead of cancelling I rose to the challenge and managed to shop for every item, but several items were out of stock. I was running down the aisles. my find rate must have suffered because there is no way to say why I’m refunding. One customer bumped my tip up so I made $61. I had two shops this morning that were uneventful and quickly completed 100%.

Jump ahead to this afternoon and I received this bs email. I’d been bumped from platinum a couple of weeks ago. No big scandals or mistakes. Just some mysterious math that is out of sync with my rating and customer feedback. I’m at least engaging with them via Twitter, but their support overall is useless.

Has anyone figured out th crazy math behind find rate? I looked back ninety days and I didn’t suddenly have big orders drop out of the 90 day window. I had one customer rip Off Instacart for three “rotten” produce items back in May. And a misbagged item in May.

Department of State IDs for alcohol?

In the end the issue may have just been the app not working correctly, but I had a very frustrating delivery experience last night of a six pack of beer to several people who only held department of state issued IDs. Apparently diplomats and UN delegations are given special drivers licenses here. They scanned like a regular ID, but I could never move beyond the screen where you confirm the date of birth and expiration and name. Has anybody else encountered this problem? Or was it just a glitch. Even when I manually entered the info it would let me complete the delivery.

Item in wrong order system failure

Is it just me or is the fail safe on items in the wrong order not working very well lately. I made a delivery and it asked me about something that wasn’t in the actual order, but it didn’t catch the fact that I rang out two items with the other delivery. I find the app is not catching that very much anymore. Anybody else seeing that?

Upgrade 60” deck spindles?

Managed to shear off the blade bold in the center spindle, and the discharge side spindle was needing a replacement, but the parts appear to not be available. I've seen some replacements that would replace everything under the belt pulley, but would they work here?

actually, I don’t mind shopping at Aldi

A batch came around today that worked on a few levels and it looked like a fun challenge. 120 items 142 units. I grabbed two carts when I got there. Took 18 bags finished at 35 seconds an item. for some reason it’s not letting me add images. And I got a small unicorn match, pending in the reverse direction.

Silly system in nyc

This happened three times now to me since this stupid one batch at a time system in nyc. They offer crap batches most of the time. They should not track declines until after you accept one.

Memorial Day parades

Note to self, don’t accept a batch in the morning of Memorial Day in a rural area. Two towns I almost was blocked out of because of parades this morning.

I have to wait no longer to know what the consequences are of me declining all the crappy batches that the app shows now one at a time in New York City. I think I’ve accepted one which actually came up as I was driving out of the city. All the ones in the city now that I’ve seen and declined were sending me into tolls areas across toll bridges in the opposite direction of where I wanted to be or from stores that I wasn’t sure would even have parking for the car. Today I also saw for the first time I think a rather telling option. Trying to figure out whether or not we are looking for small batches or bigger ones. Now if they would give options for parking at the store, avoiding tolls, etc..
