Hat jemand selbst oder kennt jemand jemanden, der eine CSL-Airbox legal am E46 M3 fährt, die keine originale BMW-Airbox ist? Ich möchte den von Karbonius mit MAP-Sensor fahren.
An sich sind die Abgaswerte identisch zum CSL und der E46 CSL ist sogar leiser im Stand-/Fahrgeräusch als der normale E46 M3.

If I run an Airbox without the flap can I easily Flash the car back to a Stock Airbox State if I were to sell it ?
I’m considering the Karbonius Airbox without the CSL flap. This cost the same as the eventuri hybrid box currently , actually 100 euros cheaper new and about 1000 cheaper if I get a used Karbonius Airbox.
Just wondering how easy it is to go back to stock with the ECU.
Was chasing one issue and for once a “ while im there” was actually worth it. I touched this thing wrong and it snapped in half. Cant imagine it would have lasted more than 100km
Installed a fresh Vanos unit and cam gears.
Timing this engine was a nightmare 🙃 it started up better than before. Always had a weird idle for the first 10-15 seconds

After a few laps at Hockenheim and the Nordschleife my engine has started with a Strange Noise … anY ideas or pass experiences?
Valves were adjusted before the track sessions and the rod bearings are maybe 3000km old. VANOS oil pump disk looked good during the valve adjustment.
Car Idles Runs and pulls just as before no change.
