Who is excited for Bel’veth rework? The infinite scaling queen is finally about to be back!

No more cheese strat no more flipping raptors and win the game from level 1. We have smolder in the botlane asol veigar in mid and kayle gwen on top. Finally we are going to have belveth in the jungle. She is gonna be the pentakill machine in a 40 minute slugfest.

Majority of the playerbase will be very happy about this rework. The current state of belveth is just pathetic. Low play rate with a high winrate in high elo with people abusing the cheese strat. She is due for a change and here it comes!!!

Everybody shits on people saying Nasus jungle is strong until Skewmond kept playing it and winning games in 2k LP lobbies and it becomes the highest winnrate jungler this patch.

Most league players don't form opinions, they inherit them in an echo chamber

For months it was: "Just invade Nasus.", "His tempo is trash.", "His ganks suck."

Then SkewMond starts spamming Nasus jungle in 2k LP Challenger, and now it's the highest win rate jungler this patch.

Nothing changed except people finally got permission to think differently.

The community loves repeating consensus until a pro player or stats prove them wrong.

How is this acceptable to have a emerald 2 player in a 1k LP chall gm lobby?

How is this matchmaking even possible? An Emerald 2 player is getting placed into a Challenger/GM game. The MMR system feels completely off and not remotely balanced right now.

I was watching a perryig's stream and he was trying very hard but that pyke was clearly not at the same level. It just made the whole situation more frustrating to watch.

Has anyone else seen matchmaking like this recently? Can someone explain how this makes sense?

Why is Bel'veth allowed to be OP for years since her release?

I am a bel'veth one trick recently learned playing kindred so I had to drop her and since then I tasted my own medicine. I'm kind of disgusted how strong is my champ.

I genuinely don't understand how bel'veth has been allowed to exist in this state for so long.

The champ has basically been S tier in high elo for what feels like forever. Every patch, every season, she's somewhere near the top. I can't remember a single stretch where people were saying "yeah, Bel'Veth is weak right now." Meanwhile, plenty of other junglers get gutted the second they bel'veth remotely problematic.

And the craziest part is that almost nobody enjoys playing against her. Every time she shows up in a game, the entire match starts revolving around her. You can't contest camps normally, objectives become a nightmare, and if she gets even slightly ahead she takes over the map. If she gets Void forms rolling, your nexus just explodes. Period.

What makes her so frustrating is that she's somehow both an early game bully and one of the hardest scaling junglers in the role. Usually champions have to choose one or the other. bel'veth gets to invade you early, win skirmishes, farm at Mach 10 speed, and then become an unkillable late game monster that shreds everything in sight.

People always point to her weaknesses, but every champion looks bad when they're behind. Saying "just put bel'veth behind" isn't exactly useful when the reason people complain is because she's so good at preventing that from happening.

The funniest thing is that despite being absurdly strong for years, her pick rate isn't even that high. That tells me a lot of players don't actually enjoy playing her either. She's one of those champions that feels oppressive when she's good, but isn't popular enough to force Riot's hand the way champs like Rengar, Yasuo, or Zed would.

Honestly, unless they fundamentally change how the champion works, I don't see low elo players suddenly picking her up, and I don't see high elo players suddenly enjoying playing against her either.

If you have got all those ACE tags in your games on opgg. You could be just as bad if not worse than your inting teammates.

Op.gg heavily favors jungle for ACE. These stats websites do not matter man. Either you converted it into a win or you didnt.

If you had the highest cs and highest kills, KPs and got that good ol ACE stamp, this says more about your inability to carry than it does about your teams. One death is enough to lose you the game when you are the most fed person. When you’re the only fed person, you’re the main factor if this game is gonna end on a win or loss. Stop trying to cope with those ACE tags.

Edit: You all have to realize junglers don’t have to lane. Of course you will have a better kda and farm because you can choose to involve fights or not. The only reason you get massively behind is if you get invaded. But that only happens after some lanes are hard losing. If you get invaded early it’s just jg diff. If you are good at it you can perma mirror their quadrant unless again your lanes are already massive behind pre-5 minutes or in a unplayable match up.
