As the title suggests. I’m a lazy guy, i’ll be honest about that. Using community-liveries has been my go-to since release. At last, i decided to give it a shot. Inspired by the Piet Mondrian artwork, and an hommage to the car i race irl (not a GT3R, obviously).
Any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated, considering this is my first ever livery.

I’m back with more problems (who would’ve thought)

Hi all. Some of you may have seen the saga where i have had more problems than playtime with my fanatec. A little context: after weeks of not being able to play, Fanatec sent me a new wheelbase under warranty which i installed yesterday, and (yay) worked.

Unfortunately, not even 24h later i am yet again no longer able to play.

Base is connected to PS5, i can press the ps-button on the wheel causing the controller assignment to pop up, and there it stops. For some reason, the O-button works, but that’s it.

So, if anyone would have experience with this issue and knows a fix, please for the love of god let me know. (I have tightened the clamp and updated everything)

I have reached the point of being fucking tired of this brand, their lack of solutions and “possible fixes” that require a damn engineering degree.

Fanatec, fix your shit or price it to your quality.

Deperate for help

Hello all. I am unfortunately back once again.

After barely 2 weeks of enjoyment with my newly purchased Fanatec GT DD 8Nm Wheelbase and BMW GT2 v2 steering wheel, I started experiencing problems.

The base no longer recognized the wheel, causing the light to start flashing red/blue. I have been in contact with Support for several weeks now, and they have helped me well, without success. Eventually, Fanatec sent a new wheel, which I received yesterday. After all updates and calibrations, i tested. Unfortunately, after 5 minutes of flawless gameplay, I had the same problem again.

Everything has been updated and calibrated; I have tried countless possible fixes but without success.

Fanatec is now suggesting sending a new wheel once again, but I am starting to suspect that the problem lies with the base. Does anyone have experience with this, or what else can I do? Potential fixes that aren't listed anywhere on the internet? I am a complete novice in the sim world, and I find all those updates and the hassle involved quite intimidating. In the meantime, I no longer see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Never keep it sealed

So my girlfriend and i felt like ripping yesterday. We went to a local shop which usually has a very limited selection. To our surprise we found they had a couple of Prismatic ETB’s at a fairly good price. As she always wanted to rip a Prismatic ETB but wanted to keep the one she had for display, we took one.

Prismatic being prismatic, we had zero luck (okay, we had one EX). Until the last pack, revealing itself to be a demi-godpack containing the Pecharunt, Gholdengo and my personal grail. The room got filled with silence and disbelief, until the panic set in trying to find a sleeve and toploader (which we didn’t have at hand because well, we didn’t expect to pull anything).

Her other ETB ended up getting ripped as well, with no luck, as one would expect.

We’re still in disbelief, and i hope any of you may have the experience we had, have too someday. It finally paid off. Never keep it sealed.

Wheelbase flashing red when wheel is attached

So, as the title suggests, my 2 month old wheelbase (GT DD 8Nm) has started flashing red whenever i attach my wheel (BMW M3 GT2 v2).

The flashing happens when:

- Immediately when powering on the base with wheel attached

- Seconds after attaching the wheel to the already powered-on base.

After contacting Support i have updated the base using v1.4.3.4 as per their advice, with no help. Running the Wheel Recovery Mode does not help/work as the base acts up as soon as attaching the wheel, causing it to no longer be recognised by my pc.

I am still in contact with support but would like to ask if any of you have ran into this problem, or any fixes.

Is the problem actually my base, or could it be the wheel?

Might be me being impatient, but i really looked forward to spend some hours racing during my days off.

Base flashing red/blue

Sorry if this has been discussed before.

After having had an amazing 2 weeks with my newly bought Fanatec gear, my wheelbase started acting up.

I’ve read some posts and tried the following:

- Unplug and replug all the cables

- Unplug the power for a while

- Disconnect the wheel and gently blow onto the pins

Any other recommendations?
