Does Dr Phil purposefully provoke his guests or do they do it themselves?

Does Dr Phil purposefully provoke his guests or do they do it themselves?

In case the title gets cut off I will repeat the topic.. does Dr Phil purposefully provoke his guests or do they do it themselves?

I know this lady in the video example I added has been famous for a while however I only recently found out about her.. There were some other guests that were quite unhinged from older seasons like a guy proclaiming himself as "Sexy Vegan" but it feels like the production crew and especially the host try to tilt their guests for sensational footage using their background and weaknesses. Especially if a person is clearly mentally unwell I find it sort of odd how they are used for ratings like that..

Am I wrong? In all fairness, I do like what Dr Phil is producing yet I sort of feel mixed about the people that find themselves on his stage

Very new to meditation, would like some advice

I’m looking to get into meditation, but I am completely green when it comes to this topic. I started doing breathing exercises with my eyes closed for around 5mins. It feels kind of good. I just focus on my breath and that sort of calms my mind down for the duration.

I am not sure if Im doing it right though. How would one get into meditation, or learn more of these practices? I dont want to commit to a yoga class or something just seeking some casual and practical routines to do in my spare time. My main goals are to clear my head, and maybe improve my focus a bit for the day. I also have trouble sitting still for more than 5minutes. but working on my endurance with that..

Seems like the short session is fine, though feeling like I should do it for like 10-15mins? Half an hour seems like too long, though I read people saying that is a sweetspot. Kind of dont want to put more than 15minutes into daily sessions

Any advice is very appreciated..

Cyber security certifications for beginners?

I was reading on some discussions that people consider a certificate in cyber security as a university degree. I was wondering what could be some sort of certificate I could pick up to potentially pursuit cyber security careers

I worked on computer maintenance with some older DOS systems in the past and Im still pretty quick on my keyboard. Was considering getting back into the field and to get settled in. Im considering to take up a certification test... AWS was a solid one I found. I am not sure if the Amazon cloud thing is a good start but some people I know pointed me towards this as a "foundational" certificate. Could somebody vouch for that?

Otherwise what are some other certificates that would help me prove my worth to an employer? Up to 1-1.5k is that Im willing to spend... Could do up to 2k if the certification would guarantee like decade or two of a career for me

Is there any device to help promote skin injury healing

Is there anything that might soothe skin surface injuries? Do these red light devices help? Got me wondering if I'm missing some sort of miracle cures here.

Are there any other devices that would promote general healing for skin injuries? Stuff like jellyfish stings, or when you scrape your leg over a nail or something. Just regular stuff that you might come by..

True dox meaning? Overheard nephew saying this in a call while playing Minecraft

I was visiting my brother. He has a 14 year old kid. He's alright but loves to be rowdy online. Like full on tunnel vision rowdy. I know I should respect the kid's privacy and let him explore life himself here and there but I really couldn't help myself and listened in to what he's talking as I was taking some boxes out the attic... Call me nosy but it was hard to ignore him being loud as I was walking by..

Apart from the usual words that sound like some alien language such as larping, aura farming... moging... which I'm just guessing are slang words kids use but googling these made my brain split in half trying to comprehend it all. What stood out to me the most was them talking about a dox at someone. He was like "you gonna dox him, no!" and screaming similar stuff for a good few minutes before he got back to talking about buildings. Mentioned the dox thing on google and I am confused even more

As I understand it, its relating to revealing a persons personal information. Does this mean anything in the context of Minecraft servers? Maybe the servers have some sort of direct trace to another kid when they connect together? Usually one of the kids has to host the server for everyone to play it?

I don't want to be a snitch uncle but not really sure what kind of crowd he got online. Was thinking to give brother a call over this but I'm not sure what is the correct wording. Last time I told him to stop giving him the iPad all the time few years back he took offense that I'm trying to parent his kid. I can assure you, I got enough on my plate. It still leaves me restless.

What would be a wise thing to address the situation?

An act of the dox doesn't sound good even if its just jokes. I don't want my family to get into trouble with the law over some stupid game. Neither do I want him to become some sort of cyber bully that finds joy in taking advantage of others online or not

Accident only pet insurance?

Hey everyone, I’m in a bit of a financial tight spot and could use some advice from the pet insurance gurus here. I have a labrador and I’ve been planning to lock down a solid insurance policy for them. Unfortunately, life threw a wrench in my plans this week literally in the form of a guy not knowing how to measure road width. Some massive, stupid, unexpected car trouble completely wiped out my emergency fund and landed me in a temporary financial gutter

My budget is going to be completely fine again in about six months, but right now, a premium "full-coverage" monthly plan just isn't realistic for my wallet.. At the same time, the thought of going totally uninsured for the next half-year makes me incredibly anxious over my dog. If my lab eats something toxic or gets into some other health turmoil, that would be horrible

I’ve heard whispers about "accident only" coverage, which I assume is much cheaper since it doesn't cover illnesses, cancer, or routine vet visits?

Anyways, I could take up a loan which I have among my plans, but I also want to find some alternative that would be more budget-friendly for my predicament

I been running with our dog for quite a while. Its even hard to imagine how fast a dog can be given the right space.... Anyways, I noticed some spams our labrador has been, yet it only happens on the back upper leg..

I suspect it might just be overexertion.. He doesnt usually run as much as I did then.. We been on a hiking trip and found a very good plane to mess around with our dog and gave it our all. Just for some context. Been back home since yesterday and the dog still having some spasms

How could I tell some sort of illness/injury from overexertion twitches anyways?

Current plan is to wait and see for the next 2 days. Dog seems fine otherwise, just has a bit of a limp. Walks it off, yet comes back on once he lies down and gets moving again
