[Gourmet] Brand spanking new liquid culture jar. 300ml water, 15g honey. Pasteurized in a pressure cooker. I tried filtering the honey water and got the same result out of cooker. Precipitant in the jar. I have older ones and I have no idea what is strange precipitant and what is mycelium. Angry.
[gourmet] First ever grow. These are my pink oysters. IRL the caps are greying, cracking, and it looks like they're parallel to the ground. So is this it? They're very small. Or are they still growing? (Environment below)
Env. Outdoors. Indirect sunlight. Average 29C temperature. Average 71% humidity. Misting before and after work.
Anyone else? I cannot be arsed to care about the political state of my nation or the world anymore. I’m out. I hereby willingly choose the pure evil that is inaction.
“But you HAVE to care”
No I don’t
“It’s selfish”
It is.
“What about the marginalized?”
Damn, sorry to my homies. I’m Latino too. Yall handle ICE, you got it. Good luck, G.
I’m going to work my job, exercise, read my books, watch my slop, play my games, and invest in the companies that I know are everything wrong with the world but bring a decent return to their shareholders. I’m going to watch as the data centers go up and the COL rises as boats of people fleeing their sinking homes are pushed back out to sea by the coastguard.
I’m not going to do anything about any of it. I tried in my younger years. Volunteering, canvassing for political campaigns, phonebanking, spending my only days off picking up trash in parks etc. If a group of teenagers with magical powers saves the world somehow then good for them. That person isn’t me.
Good luck. See you all in the climate change mass graves.
