Summer do

The pup just got her summer do and the Sproutmobile got washed.

Now we need to find an adventure and get both dirty!

Sandy Fire

Please look at your fire maps. I just drove from TO to SV (noon 05/18) and part of SV already has evacuation orders. The wind was blowing the fire toward TO

Great Weekend

I have IBS-M

I have been having horrible diarrhea (like poopy pants down to my shoes) with random constipation along with massive bloating (as well as vomiting … as I also have gastroparesis) for months.

It has limited my life and made me absolutely cranky. I am an outdoors person and my symptoms have kept me home.

I finally was so fed up I went to the mountains to hike away from people and all this last weekend (except my dog!)

Even for a simple day hike, I put extra clothes, wipes, incontinence pads in my backpack and set off.

It was the best weekend. 2.5 days in the mountains. Only had one little poop leak which a couple of wipes and a new pad fixed.

Amazing getting away from life’s stress can do. Too bad I cannot figure out how I can live/survive/afford like a hermit. 😂

I am sitting here finally admitting that life right now is the cause of everything being bad …

I have gastroparesis along with IBS-M and adrenal insufficiency.

Usually things go out of whack for a short while. But these last couple of months it has been awful.

I can barely eat (so far cream of wheat is the only “solid” food that constantly stays down)

And my intestinal issues are absolutely out of control (just imagine absolute worse at both ends of the spectrum … and they randomly fluctuate)

I am trying to get out of my situation … but it is not moving as fast as I would like … and my body and sanity are paying the price.

That is it. I am too tired to be angry or frustrated. I am just exhausted.

So I have gastroparesis along with IBS - M

And I just lost (🤮) my psyllium husk. I am not keeping much down these days. My leggings are now baggy.

I could not eat any solid (soft) food today.

Anyone else out there with gastroparesis with their IBS?

So trying to switch from pills to powder to see if it makes a difference.

How are people taking it?

Took it this morning with 8oz water … bad but not terrible

Took it this evening in my cream of wheat … the taste was fine but the mouth feel all gummy, yeah never again.
