Your top recommendations for Osaka /Kobe /Fukuoka with a 1 year old?

What's your top recommendations for going to those cities for food and activities? My baby will be turning 1 during the trip in November!

I did some research and have parks, teamLab (Fukuoka), toy museums, aquariums and malls on the list. I've got some family friendly restaurants (checked on tabelog) saved. Will be staying at Rinku station at the tail end of the trip to wind down and do some shopping.

I'm conversational in Japanese and have gone to Japan 5+ times to various prefectures but it'll be the first time to Fukuoka and also with my baby and husband. Not sure if baby will be able to walk by his 1st brithday, but the plan is to use a carrier most of the time and stroller for bigger areas (mall, park etc.) Most likely our day with start by using transit and using a taxi to head back when we're tired. We're open to renting a car if there's enough far destinations we can pack in a day.

I'm planning to get as many recs saved, so if I'm in the area and it works out, I can go to those places. I'm only aiming to go to maybe 3-4 places per day, and less on travel days between cities. Since I have a baby and the pace will be slower too.

Any recommendations are welcome! They don't have to be baby/toddler specific, but at least family friendly please.

Thank you in advance!

What's your favourite restaurant/food place recommendation? Big, small, chain, hole in the wall, food stall, just name it!

I'll be visiting Fukuoka for the first time with my husband and 1 year old ( it will be his birthday when we are there!) in November. Ideally they are baby friendly but if not, I can order take away and bring it back to the hotel to eat.

For context I can speak conversational level of japanese and have been to Japan 5+ times. We have no food restrictions and are open to try everything. We'll be staying in Tenjin area but likely to rent a car to go explore outside of the city.

Looking for mentaiko and nabe restaurant recs in particular!.

Thanks in advance!

Did your baby, who only drinks warm breastmilk, get used to room-temperature or cold breastmilk?

My 6 month old only likes to drink very warm breastmilk/formula. If the milk cools to room temperature, he will make the most displeased face and turn away. He'll swat the bottle away until it's rewarmed and then finish the bottle. I've always warmed up his milk as I pump and stored the milk in the fridge. I noticed he only greatly preferred the very warm milk after I breastfed him when I had a fever / early mastitis about a month ago. It might have been coincidental but after that week he only wanted to drink very warm milk.

If your baby was a diva like mine, did you manage to transition the warmed milk to room temperature or cold milk?

I would like him to have room temperature formula/breastmilk and cold cows milk around 1 year old as I'll be looking for daycare options around that time. Otherwise, he's a very happy baby and drinks milk well!

When my LO turned 5 months (sleep trained baby boy) I extended his wake window from 1hr45min to 2 hrs. That same week he started having a sleep regression since he learnt to roll back to front, but gets stuck and wakes up 3-4 times a night. The sleep training I follow says to extend by 15 mins for at least 2 weeks before extending again. Should I extend it to 2hr 15mins if he's still having a hard time to stay awake until the 2 hr mark? He isn't much of a cryer but is very grumpy and sometimes has a hard time falling asleep since I'm assuming he's become overtired.

He still accidentally rolls to his front and gets stuck ( I only flip when he cries after waiting a while ) 2-4 times a night for the past 1.5 weeks. I was planning to extend it by 15 mins in a few days, or should I hold off until his night sleep is better?

He has 3-4 naps a day ( ranging from 25 mins to 1hr 45 mins) and only takes a 4th nap to make it to bed time or to hit at least 3 hr total daytime naps. Night sleep is about 10 to 11.5 hrs.
