Do I need Usenet and can somebody point me to a setup video?

So I have Torbox and I just use the $5 a month plan. I see a lot of talk about usenet. I pretty much just stream shows and movies. Can someone explain to me what usenet is used for in layman terms. I tried to find some YouTube videos but nothing showed the setup process.

Hello, so I just stumbled on the whole melting adapter issue. Obviously it’s the card I have. I’m currently using the adapter because I never thought anything of it. Is there another cable I should purchase or am I just cooked? I attached a picture of my PSU. “Cooler Master MWE Gold 850 V2 Fully Modular”
