Be careful of pastors helping you (or your elderly parents) with “investments”

Promissory notes are used in scams. My dad was sucked in and signed one. Watch out for your old folks. Don’t let them sign anything even when it’s their very own church pastor.

Edit: if anyone else has experienced this scam, report it to the BC securities commission

I was using my own finger pricker during a hospital stay. Nurse says “don’t you ever change the lancet?” I laughed so hard.

She was shocked. I was like, nah it’s a whole thing between us diabetics. That bag of free lancets you get with your first BGM is a lifetime supply. We good. Still here 👍🏼😂

Why does my lower leg numbness feel like a cramp and how can I fix/ease it?

All day it feels like a cramp but I don’t think it’s an actual cramp. Hard to tell when it’s numb. I’ve tried heat packs.

The potentially embarrassing numb butt symptoms I never expected.

Sorry, TMI ahead :(.

Ffs I didn’t expect this. Im having a flare up just 6 weeks into Kesimpta (I’m newly diagnosed). So I guess Kesimpta hadn’t peaked yet. Anyway, the last few days I have seriously numb butt. I know when I need to go to the toilet but when I’m there I can’t tell if I’ve finished. The sensory issues makes it feel like I’ve got a wedgie all the time :( I’m so stressed that I’ll have an accident and not feel it. I’ve talking to doc, getting a scan, will probs take steroids but who knows if that will help. Gah!!!!! I’m on edge socialising and going to work. Anyone else deal with this? Can I expect it to settle down and go away. 😭🫠

3 months on Kesimpta. I have new symptoms.

2 weeks ago I started getting numbness on my left side for the first time. It’s spread across my back to my chest, side of ribs and parts of my leg and foot. I didn’t expect this. I was actually told I won’t get any more attacks of if I stay on this very effective drug. Is this common?
