Forzamotorsport 2023 - Takes 5 seconds to get off the starting line.

Hi, I used to sim race on Thrustmaster T248 but stopped for over a year. On getting back into it I upgraded to Fanatec csl dd 8 nm , elite v2 pedals and gt3 steering wheel. Have been having a great time on F1 23. But in the time there aren’t many good lobbies in this game I have loaded Forzamotorsport 2023. I notice I only had 3 hours in the game from previous and I remember not enjoying it. But anyway, have spent a bit of time dialing in all kind of settings, from creating a set 2 on my wheel for this game to all the other possible settings. I now have a driving experience I am very happy with ( can I tweak further yes, but for now it’s a fun handling experience ). However, now that I am lap time faster than the difficulty level I started myself at it is annoying I can’t win these races so much because it is taking me 5 or so seconds to get off the start line. Whatever I try it just doesn’t engage. I do eventually get away after pumping the throttle and frantically changing up and down gear. What am I doing wrong? What do I need to know? It’s so annoying now I have a lot of settings dialed in as I think I will enjoy the game.

Genuine question. Why have a decent dac if you running it into speakers with DSP?

From my research this just turns your nice dac into an expensive volume knob. Do most people know this or do people forget or is my knowledge wrong?

I have just got the xDuoo MH 02. ( With 6J1 tubes ) Am using it connected to my WiiM Ultra and Audioengine speakers and sub woofer. I think it's great. Have been reading up on the tubes/valves.

I am probably going to buy three different pairs of vintage tubes/ valves , I have been advised of three that are different/ perhaps improvements on the 6J1 I am using.

Do you have any experience with using a tube pre-amplifier with digital source such as the WiiM Ultra? If so , what vintage tubes do you recommend and why!

I have CSL DD , elite V2 pedals and GT3 steering wheel. Is it ok to wait a month or two before doing latest Fanatec App update to my gear? I raced this morning and all my gear worked fine. I can't be bothered getting my brother's laptop to do the update to my gear and can't be bothered right now to take the pedals off my rig to do the pedal update.

Am I ok for a couple of months?

Hi.

So I have new SIM rig, Fanatec stuff, Elite V2 load cell pedals etc. Improved my times as also started using custom car set ups. Any how, started racing against AI recently, 95 level, this ended up being too easy. So increased to 97. Have got a second place in standings in my 5 race ( 5 lap ) tournaments.

Today I tried Qatar. 97 too easy! Won. So went for it and increased to 100. Still won. I went for 105 and won. Now I just came 2nd in the standings for my 5 race tournament at 107! I won one race having gained pole position with a 1.21.8. My best time trial record at Qatar is currently 1.21.6. This time puts me at 13% mark on leaderboard. So why AI operating at my level on this track? I thought 107 AI was near world championship level, which I am most definitely not. I even tried 110 AI and got 4th place in one race but mainly finished around 7th or 8th.

Surely this is some weird anamoly by the AI?

Hi.

I have FH4, not played for a while, but I used to get improved quickness using Tuneityorself app for telemetry/tuning cars. I am thinking of buying my first ever game on release with FH6. But anyone know how long after it drops that Tuneityourself will have good enough data to use the tuning from the app?
