PH200M owners question?
A question for PH200M owners please- I recently purchased this watch used and have noticed an unusually small amount of ‘turn’ needed to fully screw down and unscrew the crown- it only takes about 1/3rd of a full turn of the crown. Is this normal or is the thread dying on the crown tube please? Thank you in advance.
Paid £120, was this a Decent price?
Just bought this for £120 uk. Original Accutron, full working order. I thought this was a bit of a bargain…. Hopefully I am right….
Original patina SKX ‘Black Bullet’ [SKXA53] produced 2005…
So, the skx black bullet is basically an skx007 with a different dial (hence the little bullet shapes) and a white and red chapter ring. I believe there was also an option to buy it with a seiko president bracelet originally too… I bought this one originally with a dead and incorrect movement inside, no seals and no bracelet. I sourced a NOS 7S26A (basically from a dead man’s unused watch) as historically correct, an OEM genuine SKX jubilee (president bracelet was impossible to find) and a set of gaskets. As you can see for the patina- the red has faded from the chapter ring and the white has turned to cream, the bezel has faded to a dark navy blue and lume has turned to a yellow silver….
Knockoff PRX quartz vs retail
Knockoff vs retail PRX quartz
So I got stitched up for a knockoff PRX quartz. I thought this would give me the opportunity to identifier any obvious differences to help someone else in the future when buying online. The dark blue PRX is the normal one by the way. The differences I have found are the date wheel text filling the viewing window on the knockoff, a rounder 1st/main link, and no recess next to the winder on the knockoff. Hope that helps somebody out… (PS the knockoff one also contains a Japanese movement)
