Death metal or deathcore

So i began to listen to metal not so long ago, i usually listen to slipknot but i feel like they r not fully my genre. I tried a lot of genres (metalcore, trash, heavy, groove, other numetal bands,...) but i cant find anything that sounds good to me. Before starting w metal i listened to 2000s music (tokio hotel), him (the band) or goth but i guess i want smt heavier. Any recomended genre (+ band pls) would be awsome
