Hello, where can I buy quality tea and real yixing teapots in Beijing?
I’ve read that Maliandao Market is a little intimidating for non-natives.
Also, is there a way to distinguish shops that sell fake yixing from shops that sell the real stuff?
I’m aware of the advise against buying from Taobao, where there are many obvious fakes; but does this apply to T-Mall sellers, which require stricter business verification on the platform?
Note that these items are not cheap, with many costing at least $200 (attached some screenshots). I can read some basic Chinese an on the surface everything looks legit.
I live in Southeast Asia, so Taobao is a more practical place for me to buy an Yixing teapot.
