Suprep taken at 3pm PST; still actively going at 11pm. Just want to sleep some.

Everywhere I read this was like a 4-5 hour max experience first dose. I can’t believe I still can’t go to sleep. Now I’m anxious about the morning dose and getting to the center without an issue for my 10:30am arrival time. Sigh.

Prep Today @3pm PST; Hemorrhoid/Fissure Advice?

So, I’m getting a colonoscopy due to rectal bleeding that I’m positive is a hemorrhoid or fissure from a bad GI upset that has made this chronic. So that’s why we are here for caution, and because my GI doctor says he never doesn’t run a colonoscopy these days for bleeding given the rise of colon cancer.

I just had my normal morning bowel movement with some blood, so I am very nervous about the prep this afternoon as I don’t want to be in pain or bleed more. Any tips to help? I planed to put some barrier cream once I start prep, I have a bidet I use already.

Should I try a sitz bath before I start prep to see if it will help? Appreciate any and all suggestions?

Quit / Transfer Advice

Hello,

Seeking transfer advice from anyone that has navigated it. I'll try to get straight to the point:

  • I just completed my first year, in a part-time (3 year program). I have completed 21 credits. And the following courses:
    • Policy 1 & 2
    • Human Behavior 1 & 2
    • Social Work with Diverse Populations
    • Social Work Practice I
    • Trauma-Focus Social Work (Elective)
  • Originally, I was intending to start my program full-time, but when our lives were thrown upside down by double unemployment everything shifted. I switched to the part-time program trying to make it work. However, my program is not working out now that we relocated further away from the school. I managed to get through my second semester as we moved during it, but I'm not feeling confident about completing the next two years with practicum involved especially because my school doesn't offer much out my way.

I am feel pretty stuck because I know I can't transfer this many credits to a different program and I would have to retake courses. Which is an additional cost. So I'm honestly feeling like I should either quit and not pursue this anymore at this stage. My health is deteriorating as a result of the commute and overall the program has been lacking in the expectations I had.

Just wondering if anyone knows any programs that take more than 6-9 credits in the state of California / online. I'm not worried about sacrificing in-person experience because I'm a career pivoter and have plenty of life experience. Or if you have other additional recommendations or comments of support.

Anti Venom for Dogs Locations

Hi! I’m newer to the area and curious if other dog owners know which animal hospitals across simi or even down in Thousand Oaks carry anti venom? I am not sure if all vets carry it regularly or not.

I don’t usually hike after morning and it starts warming up and I’m pretty cautious but it would be nice to know JUST IN CASE, so I at least have a plan in an emergency situation.

Potential Exact Matchup, first time since 2005 and 2006

We haven’t had a back to back same championship matchups in 20 years since UCLA v Michigan.

Prior to that, also nearly 10 years with Arizona v UCLA in 96 & 97.

While I don’t care for Texas Tech winning at this point given everything, it’ll be interesting to see if they can do it and on schedule for this once every 20ish years situation.

UCLA Fought it Out

There is nothing to be upset about with this performance. I mean, what a way to go down. Tinsley deserves a losing team MVP award for going all those innings and somehow managing to get better as she went deeper and still going at batters without fear.

This was a truly special game to watch. I only wish Megan Grant could have gotten 43 to match her jersey.

This is why this team has so much respect in the game. Just so much joy even when they’re down.

Hello,

Newer to the area, and wondering if there are any local ranches providing cow share bulk beef ordering? I am not able to get to local farmers markets to scope out anything either.

Would love to know what’s around or where to check locally for pick up. Thank you!

Hello,

I recently got back from traveling to Tucson, AZ on Monday night, and by Tuesday afternoon noticed I had a rash all over my stomach or what looked like bug bites. There was some on my arm, and then some in the pubic bone area. I lived in Arizona once upon time, and I was running an event, around horses, and in a hot tub.

I’ve been to urgent care but it’s all a guessing game because I don’t have any real symptoms. It is slowly spreading like 1-3 new ones pop up while the beginning ones are slowly fading. Some are bigger like a bug bite and can hurt if pushed on or scratched but not touching it, I won’t feel anything. These are few and far between.

Today I was given an oral antibiotic just to see if it’ll help and a steroid cream but all of that feels extreme for such non symptoms. Here’s a photo of how it looked originally.

No one seems overly worried but it’s giving me a ton of anxiety to not have answers. Most of the concerning things have been ruled out. I’m trying to find a dermatologist at this point but just moved to where I live and haven’t established all my health needs yet. Thank you!

There’s been 6 cop cars racing by first street and Royal and then a fire truck. Too many cars and a fire truck for a car accident… not sure if anyone else heard them or seen them just now (5:05-5:11)
