I got a 2011 E350 with a 7-Gtronic Plus gearbox. Recently I noticed that my car has been shifting somewhat weirdly after cold start (or warm restart for that matters). Around 2 to 3 minutes immediately after an engine start, my car would upshift really late, like it just keep hanging around 2.1k-2.2k RPM without shifting, or then all of the sudden flare up to 2.4k-2.5k RPM before upshifting. Sometimes though it would just hang around 2.1k-2.2k RPM for longer like that before upshifting without RPM spike. After 3 minutes or so, it returns to normal (immediately shift around 2.1k-2.2k RPM instead of hanging). My pedal has been very consistent so the possibility of accidental throttling is ruled out. Shift however is very smooth and has no jerk, even during the occasional RPM spikes immediately after start mentioned. There is no RPM fluctuations under cruise either so I hope it was not slipping. Has anyone ever encountered issue before and if this is something I should take to the shop?

Hey folks! I have a 2011 Mercedes E350 (M272, non CGI) and I noticed that it has been making a whistling (or whining?) noise, sounds kinda like "huuuuuuu..." whenever I hit around 58 to 62 mph. If I either lift off the gas to coast, or beginning to apply gas from a coast, the noise pauses for a moment then resumes, like "huuuuuu (silence) huuuuuu...". Stranger thing is that it always happens exactly in this range of speed, not at any slower or faster speed. Pretty sure it wasn't just road noise either because I can hear it happening at every other highway ramp as well. Perhaps you guys know if it is just some wind noise or something else? I already check in with a local Euro indy and they told me the rear diff, wheel bearings are fines, and I can see that my tires have no sign of uneven wear.

Hey guys, I just wanna ask if for a E350 (M272, 2010), around one minute or one minute thirty seconds would be normal for cold start rev to drop back to idle RPM?
