I‘m 17 years old and a senior in high school. I have had a previous job that I don’t really like due to management and constant scheduling issues. Basically, is this job worth it? I love fashion and thought it’d be fun, of course I know how hard you have to work as well. Do employees feel like the company has a good environment and that they generally have support from management? What is the hiring process like and is it possible to be hired as a teen? I could work weekends and after school… lmk

eras tour vs eternal sunshine tour
i just saw a video of the eras tour and it reminded me of how creative the production was. like or hate taylor swift, she absolutely OWNED that stage, every inch of it, and it was absolutely gigantic. what sticks out for me is the production and the visuals- the waving flags in her lover reveal (video above) built the most amazing opening and her confidence was unmatched. she doesn’t have vocals, she can’t really dance, but she was PERFORMING and she wanted to be there putting on a show. ariana’s reveal last night was similar in the waving fabric reveal, but the white light and basic poses and stiff, simple choreo with no audience interaction was terrible. she isn’t even looking at the crowd, her eyes are just blank. that energy reflected in the crowd’s response, in my opinion. i just saw this and thought wow, if taylor swift never stepped foot in public again, this would seal her fate as a star. ariana, on the other hand, probably won’t tour again and if this keeps going the way it did last night, she’ll be a faded star who used to be popular but doesn’t have it anymore. if i could describe the tour vibes in one word, it’d be underwhelming. anyone else feel like that? not trying to pit them against each other and i do understand that ariana chose for hers to be smaller, it just feels lackluster.

How impressive is UIUC?
Everyone in Illinois is such a snob about their own state school, but if you live here, the price is good and they accept lots of in-states. But then I hear people say it’s not a safety, UIUC rejected them, etc. Is it actually impressive to a top-tier medical school, law school, etc if you attended UIUC or not really?

ipad or ipad air?
i really want an ipad for notes, watching tv, social media, etc. i need it to have a long battery life, strong internet connection, etc. obviously the ipad air is a lot more expensive, but i really want my ipad to last. is it worth it to just buy the ipad air or will the ipad be just as good at a lower price point? it’s not like i’m trying to edit videos or anything. i’m going to use an apple pencil usbc and a paper like screen protector if that makes a difference.
