I’ve finished the 4 main regional phenomena, I know there’s a 5th dungeon but haven’t started that quest yet. I HATE hate hate the weapon durability mechanic so I really wanna get the master sword to deal with that somewhat but I’ve read that it’s better to finish the next dungeon for more natural story progression, thoughts? As far as I’m aware you need all 12 memories (I have like 8?) and to clear the Deku Tree (I know this isn’t mandatory (maybe the memories aren’t either?) but I would like to do this first anyways.

I'm fairly close to clearing out ending E and I do wanna delete my save when I do because that feels right in the game, but I also don't wanna lose complete access to the game if that makes sense? I suppose I can always save it onto a USB or random folder and keep it there till I wanna come back to it, but I feel like that's a bit shitty considering the whole point is the consequence of doing it LMAO

I've now finished every ending except for E and the DLC stuff, and am only missing the ending achievements + some small ones like hacks and fish. Is there anything people tend to not do / miss before they wipe their save? I wanna complete all I can then wipe when I see ending E for the first time (though maybe I'll get it twice just to get the nice screenshot of my save heh). I've seen people go for the special arenas but how difficult are they? I don't want my last experiences with the game (for now) to be super stressful and unfun LOL, but that's still on my mind! Anything else cool to look out for?

Just got endings C and D and ended on about level 65, ran through all other endings in the game, but I'm missing Y, triangle and E (I want that to be my very last thing before wiping my save). I wanna get 100% on everything like Unit Data and stuff, which I'm working through now, but I don't wanna spend hours and hours grinding to 99 if I only need to be like 80 to comfortably do everything left, just to delete my save file right away!

I'm told the Emil boss is level 99, and I'm not too fond of doing the special rank arenas but we'll see how that goes - I don't think I'd find it too fun though. So what level should I get to to be able to do everything EXCEPT the special rank arenas?

I have avoided watching any videos or video essays and such about Nier Automata even though I've been dying to. I've just cleared ending C and am about to get ending D. I'm aware of ending E but don't know what actually happens other than you lose all of your save data (I plan on doing it as the VEEERY last thing after I reach 100%), and I know ending Y is pretty involved as an entire quest (that you have to fail), but the rest of the endings are all fairly straightforwards. Does this mean I've essentially experienced the entire story of the game and can start consuming Nier Automata media without being worried about being spoiled? Or should I still hold off until ending E? Honestly, I LOVE this game it hasn't left my mind for a second but I thought there would be more content towards the end - not that I'm disappointed at all!! I'm just worried there's a bit more to see and I'll spoil is all!

I've just gotten ending C and am aware that ending E erases all of my saved data, I'm assuming that means no chapter select, no levels, no debug room, no NOTHING and I'd have to play the game from scratch again if I wanna do anything else. I plan on going to do ending D right after I write this, then clear out every other ending, get all achievements and everything, then do Ending E. Is there anything else I should look out for?

I know it's a kinda vague question but just wondering! I also see lots of youtubers and clips of people doing things in debug room and stuff, does this mean they're not playing on their original file? Obviously I guess it's the point but feels weird having people do endgame level stuff without having cleared endgame on that save LMAO

Edit: Does chapter select change things in my save? Like, I'm gonna go back and wipe Pascal (I killed him initially), if I select future chapters then will he be available to buy from at all times (obviously past this decision)?

Kind of a weird question but I’m mid way through part B and already wanna start building a merch area on my shelves for this game!! I love it!! The obvious thing to look at is figures which I’ve found some great ones! But finding 2B and 9S figures in stock online is so scarce.. I see them in some shops but am a bit worried they’re bootlegs because of how hard finding them online is! (mainly REALLY want the pop up 2B and 9S but god they feel impossible to find)

But even outside of figures, are there any pieces of merch that are just that good? I’m thinking of getting the Long Story Short novels because they seem like they’d look really nice there! Any other ideas of good display pieces?

Just started my Route B and in Route A I did almost everything I could, explored every tiny area and did almost every available side quest. I know that in Route B the completed sidequests carry over but in terms of exploration do I still have to explore every tiny detail? I know there are some chests only Nines can open, but how many are worth (I know some hold weapons that I'll need for future endings) but still.. having to explore EVERY tiny area again is gonna drag it out and I'm worried about getting bored having to re-explore, thoughts?

I have an E2 Welt but got told he's not worth using unless he's E4 BUT I do have 2 companion spirits that I don't really intend on using soon? So I could get him to E4 but unsure if that's worth it. I don't have Mortenax but got most other characters I see her paired with, what's her best team given that?

Every time we see “real Nikki” come to the surface, she rejects Bear in some way, from pushing him away while kissing, to telling him “I was never with you”, rightfully so given her awful situation. One of the earlier scenes in which we see the idea of real Nikki being trapped is where Bear is given a Sandy sandwich in his lunchbox, alongside a selfie with him asleep and written “NOT ME” beneath it. The obvious implication that she is trying to tell Bear that she’s trapped in this body, but what about the sandwich? The fact that the note is in the sandwich implies that real Nikki made the lunch, but real Nikki isn’t psychotic and I don’t see her cooking his dead cat?
As said before I suppose this would be a form of him “rejecting him” (albeit an extremely EXTREME form), but it doesn’t make sense for fake Nikki to cook the sandwich and then allow the note (written by real Nikki) to remain in the box, so either fake Nikki wrote the note, or real Nikki cooked the sandwich, both seem unreasonable?

Edit: I’ve come across the theory that Nikki is possessed by Sandy, and although I really do not like this theory because I feel like it’s just a weird grab at straws, it does seem to answer my question! Her cooking Sandy could be seen as lashing out against the spirit of the cat stuck in her body - but I still am not too big of a fan of this theory because it just feels like a very “jumping the shark” kind of idea.

I’ve made tiramisu 4 times now, every time it’s gone fine (other than maybe issues with getting stiff peaks for my egg white/sugar mixture), but this time the mixture was still very thick (I gave up after 30 minutes of whisking where it was almost forming peaks) and when I folded it into the marscapone, egg yolk and sugar it became extremely runny? I’ve used this same recipe before and even if my whites mixture isn’t stiff, it has never ended up this runny. Any thoughts?
For anyone interested the recipe I’ve been using is 40g (1/5 cup) sugar mixed with 2 egg whites, then 250g marscapone and 40g sugar mixed with the 2 yolks + some vanilla extract

Not really sure where to ask this and can't find any news on it, but the star rail stall should be up at London ComicCon, right? I'm not going personally but wanted to ask a friend to pick some things up for me and was wondering if there was a catalogue / general prices of things I could see? It's still fairly early in the day but I can't see anyone posting about it and don't wanna just spring on my friend "hey please get this this and this" while she's at the stall tomorrow yknow! Just wanted a heads up on what merch and prices n stuff!
