TIFU by hitting a pothole

Tldr: I hit a pothole and through a series of unfortunate events had 3 separate flat tires over the course of 8 hours.

Today I was driving 500 miles across four states back home after a weekend with the family. I left at 3 AM hoping I could get home a little after noon. When I had roughly 75 miles left of my drive, I hit a small pothole on the highway. I initially didn't think much of it, however I did then hear the tire and knew I blew it. I I had hoped to just pop on the spare and be on my way, however the spare was stuck in its compartment. It took myself, a state trooper, and a DOT worker to finally get it out.

We did successfully change to the spare and I was warned to immediately go buy new tire from the shop because you can only drive on the type of spare I have for ~30 miles. Fortunately the next exit up had a tire shop and they had my tire size in stock. 30 minutes later I was back on the highway.....for about 30 miles until I felt my car wobble really bad. I pulled over and the brand new tire was shredded. The trooper had told me prior what number to call to get them and the DOT to help again if needed.

Another DOT worker comes and changes my ruined tire back to the spare. After calling several shops in the area, I ended up having to backtrack 40 miles but was able to get new tires and they said my rims looked fine. Finally, it was time to go home.

After about 30 minutes I just felt in my gut I needed to pull over and sure enough I had my third flat of the day. A kind Samaritan pulled over and helped me change back again to the spare.

Anyway, I finally got home at 10:30 PM and have no idea what I'm going to do about the tire, but for now I'll sleep.

We need to normalize widespread, reliable public transportation because most of you can't drive.

I say this about the whole country. However, as someone who has lived in multiple states and countries, the DMV has consistently the worst drivers I've ever seen.

We need people to be comfortable taking public transportation because it's cheap, reliable, and safe.

Lamictal (nearly) ruined my life

*Personal experience, not telling people this will happen for them on Lamictal*

After over a decade and a half of being on and off of Abilify, my psychiatrist made the decision to change me to Lamictal. I was extremely hesitant at first because I had been on Lamictal when I was younger and I couldn't remember why I didn't like it, just that I didn't. Anyway we decided to make the switch anyway and give it the ol' college try, as they say.

The first few weeks were great. I was happy, energized, going to the gym, writing, the whole nine. I hadn't felt so much in so long it was incredible.

Then it got extreme, the euphoria led into extreme sexual desire and I couldn't get enough. I did a few reckless things over the course of a few days and had a pregnancy scare. It also led to extreme emotional overloads. I felt as though I was possessed for 2 weeks as my thoughts and actions didn't feel like my own.

Eventually I burned out and I couldn't bring myself to go to the gym after a few weeks and lost motivation to write and stopped talking to friends. I fully stopped enjoying things for about 2 more weeks. Horrible migraines started during this time, not just painful headaches but auras that would completely disorient me and made me believe I had a brain tumor or something.

Then Monday, something (not sure what) triggered me into a full blown rage that lasted until Thursday when I recognized that I was in a blind rage state and experienced black out rage for the first time since I was 18.

I have done so many deplorable things in the last two months since switching to Lamictal. I know there's adjustment periods and stuff, but I didn't expect to be possessed by a hypo/manic demon.
