My social media feed is full of small creators talking about the new law and how hard it hits them.

But this sub has been quiet about it as far as I can tell.
How are you dealing with this?

I just woke up from a really weird dream. There was a secret Expedition 33 party but in order to enter you needed a password.

The question was: “what is the core message of expedition 33?”

In the dream me and my friends made quite a few guesses:

“See things as they are, not what you want them to be”
“For those who come after”
“Its all about art”
“You have to let go and move on”
“There is no black and white, just in between”
“Nothing good can stay forever”
“You have to enjoy what you have while you have it”
“Friends are your real family”
“Hold on to what you love”
“Parry it!”
“Dont be whooo be wheee instead”

None of them worked. So my question to you:
What would you say the password is?

Ich bin 33, hab die letzten Jahre als Grafikdesigner gearbeitet und könnte im kommenden Semester ein Informatik Studium beginnen.

Ich hab jetzt etwas Angst von einem schwer AI beeinflussten Beruf in den nächsten zu wechseln.
Zeitgleich habe ich gemerkt das mir Coden / Front-End richtig spaß macht und meine Vorerfahrung als Designer wäre da nicht komplett verloren.

Wie sind dafür die Zukunftschancen?
Ist der markt in 3 Jahren komplett auf den Kopf gestellt? Oder macht das jetzt schon noch Sinn?

Ich lese überall das (in Österreich) immer noch ein Fachkräftemangel in der Branche herscht. Zeitgleich, dass es kaum Junior Positionen gibt wegen AI.

Hat da jemand Erfahrung? Eine Einschätzung?

I am looking for Videos that:
– Explain how AI works
– How Generative AI works
– Art and AI
– Its environmental impact (good or bad)
– Its economic impact
– Its social impact

Do you know any good ones?
It would be best for them to be short and simple.
And even better: neutral ones. Not too bias to one side but an honest look on things.

And before anyone accuses me of being lazy: yeah I also look for them myself. But I would love to see what you all think explains it the best / or opened your eyes / had an impact on your opinion

hat hier jemand das Programm beim BBRZ gemacht und via BITEC/JET eine Ausbildung in richtung Software Development (oder ähnliches) gemacht?

Wie war eure Erfahrung damit? Lern man dort gut was man braucht um in diesem Bereich zu arbeiten?
Ist das ein guter Einstieg in die Branche? Bzw. wie kommt dieser Weg bei Arbeitgebern an?
