Basmati rice causing problems?

I know white rice is the best carb source, but I find basmati still has negative effects on me? Is there a type of white rice considered best?

Does ginger effect muscle growth?

I am taking 4g of ginger to improve gut motility for my gut issues and it helps a lot. As ginger is anti inflammatory, could it impede muscle growth?

Effective ginger doses

I have bought a ginger supplement that is 650mg from Weight World. I was thinking 1 capsule morning, 1 after lunch and then 2 before bed. However, I have read the prokinetic effect gets strong at 1000mg or more. Would I really need to take 2 capsules per serving? Seems like it would be pretty expensive to do 6 a day.

Wired and insomnia reaction to artichoke supplement)

Tried artichoke (extract supplement) last night and it made me feel really wired and made sleep onset take much longer with much shallower sleep. I think I tried a different brand a couple years ago and got the same reaction. Is this common?

Caloric deficit helps symptoms a huge amount

When I am in a caloric deficit I almost feel symptom free, but when I increase my calories to maintanence everything goes pear shaped. It isn't about the amount of food, for example if I had an active day where I eat 3500 calories in a 500 deficit vs a day of 2500 maintanence, the symptoms will be much worse on the 2500 day. I have no idea what this is about, is it related to hormonal/metabolic changes associated with caloric deficits?

Extremely bad headaches/migraines

My worse symptom is headaches/migraines that get worse throughout the day, but can still be bad at any time of the day. It's like all the muscles on my skull, the back, sides, on top as well as my the nose get extremely painful and sore. I'm not sure what is causing it, maybe it's histamine, MCAS or something else. Even if I eat low histamine I still get it very badly. What could it be?

Will withdrawal be quicker if the romance phase ended a long time ago?

Some circumstances have led to a reality check about my LE and now I can feel the episode ending after 2 years. I will admit, feeling the start of withdrawal yesterday/today has been quite shocking (I remember when this happened before 5/6 years ago). It made me realize that I was enganging in lots of subconscious searching/uncertainty negotiating behaviours without even realizing it. However, I remember it from before and I don't think it's quite as painful this time. Last time I was in the middle of the highs/infatuation and got rejected with no ambiguity. I got a lighter rejection this time (although I don't really know this person - it's a long story), but that was 7 months ago.

I have been stuck ruminating in anger and just thinking about her/her friends/family, but not really actually longing to be with her. I feel relieved that this has happened as I know it's possible for me to move on. I've just been stuck on the situation ruminating but not wanting, I think a lot of it just because of a lack of purpose in my life. I can see what an absolute waste of life it has been and now I am seeing things differently, I can see how empty my life is.

There isn't really a clear answer to this, but my withdrawing mind is just looking for whatever it can get. Because I have been in a post romantic phase for a long time, will the withdrawal be shorter, or should I expect the full deal?

Headaches that occur with rage?

I have SIBO, HI and maybe MCAS (and hEDS). My worse symptom is extremely painful headaches that occur alongside rage. Throughout the day I go through waves of this, probably worse after eating. It makes being around people hard and everyday it's like "here we go again". Does that sound like MCAS to you? When I tried anti histamines it didnt stop that symptom specifically. The headaches occur with teeth grinding, its like the whole of the side of my head and top get very tight/sore. When it happens it makes me feel socially disassociated as well.

Anxiety/panic waves that constantly pulses?

I have strong anxiety/sometimes panic symptoms that can happen on a very short basis (ie sometimes second to second). I think it’s related to constant gas building/release but I’m not really sure. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it to do with vagus nerve. It gets worse after eating.

The problem is that of course a deficit is not sustainable.

I have issues with supplements due to my bad gut. Ideally I use topical or sublingually, I was wondering whether ionic zinc (sulphate) absorbs sublingually?

I'm freaking out a bit. When I get withdrawal, I get very paranoid about my social media stalking and things I might have done. As soon as I entered withdrawal recently, I have this memory of accidentally liking their post before unliking it. It only popped up then but it is pretty scary as it feels real. Does anyone else get this? How can I tell?
