What on Earth are they doing with subtitles???
Take “Alya sometimes hides her feelings in Russian” for example, the English [CC] subtitles provide subtitles only for the regular dialogue but doesn’t show anything for when Russian conversations happen or when Japanese text shows on screen, meanwhile the English subtitles that isn’t CC does the opposite, providing everything that’s missing from the CC yet doesn’t show anything for regular conversation, meaning if my slightly deaf ass want to understand things, I need to constantly switch between the two types of subtitles, who on Earth thought that was okay?
