Petsitting from July 10 while you're on vacation?

Hi guys! Sorry if this isn't appropriate to post here, but I'm a petsitter with a wide open gap in my calendar that I'm trying to fill, and it's been a nightmare!

I usually use TrustedHousesitters, but there are slim pickings there at the moment, perhaps because of the World Cup. I'm currently on a one-month-long sit in Clinton Hill, looking after two wonderful 10-year-old rescue cats. Previously, I looked after cat duos in Crown Heights and Ocean Hill, another very sweet and anxious cat in Bedstuy, and dogs in Park Slope.

A bit about me: I'm an Asian-Australian journalist new to NYC. I have full working rights. I've moved here alone and am trying to get settled. I love cats and dogs so much and have been doing this work for about two years, both in the US and Australia!

If you're interested, I'll send you a link to my Trusted Housesitters profile, which is full of glowing reviews.

Thanks for reading!

11 yo rescue suddenly has blood nose

Hi guys,

I’m a cat sitter looking after this 11 year old rescue cat. He has no teeth and also can’t hear.

It’s all been smooth sailing and he’s acting normal but I noticed he has a bit of blood around his right nostril.

I’m not sure how serious this is. I’m waiting to hear back from the owner. Can anyone advise? He has been sneezing a lot if that’s anything. But he’s acting as he always does… in fact he’s sleeping.

We are in NYC, the owner can afford vet care. No vet has been contacted as of yet.
