CONFUSED

Nag set up ako ng viber dating profile. Syempre nagalit sya at nasaktan.

Healing

I've been carrying this for a long time, and I think it's finally time to let it out.

I'm a woman, and my ex was also a woman.

From day one, I was certain about her. I loved her wholeheartedly and made sure she always felt safe, reassured, and valued. I accepted every part of who she was because I believed that no diagnosis or past experience should define a person's worth. I saw someone kind, generous, and deserving of love.

Knowing she had gone through painful and abusive relationships before, I promised myself that she would never experience those things with me. I gave my best to become a safe place for her. In the beginning, our relationship felt full of love. We dreamed about our future together, and I supported her through every stage of her life and career. I sacrificed my time, energy, and resources willingly because I believed that's what love sometimes asks of us.

As time went on, things slowly changed.

Small arguments turned into verbal attacks. I was cursed at, insulted, and constantly made to feel like I wasn't enough. Sometimes my family was insulted too. I kept those experiences to myself because I didn't want people to judge her.

Despite how deeply those words hurt me, I never chose to hurt her back. I didn't scream, insult, or seek revenge. I kept believing things would get better because I loved her and hoped we could work through everything together.

Looking back now, I realize that loving someone shouldn't require accepting repeated emotional abuse. You can deeply love a person and still acknowledge that the relationship is no longer healthy.

I'm sharing this anonymously because I'm not looking to ruin anyone's life. I don't want revenge. I simply want to tell my story and remind anyone going through something similar that emotional abuse is still abuse, and you deserve to be treated with respect, kindness, and consistency.
