Inspired by the new He-Man movie—and a re-examination of live-action theatrical movies based on beloved cartoon characters—I wanted to do a fancast of another intellectual property that's yet to hit the big screen. That, of course, being ThunderCats.

The problem is: while the original series is iconic in its' own right, both its' visuals and character design may not translate in today's age and capture a modern audience the way Masters of the Universe did, so I took elements from the 2011 reboot series (which was equally acclaimed and stood on its' own with a grounded approach and more serialized format, despite lasting one season). This is my take:

I was boiling a pot of water on the stove to cook some rice and, like an idiot, I didn't realize part of the lid was on the burner and not next to it. The plastic melted off the right hand top as you can see there and I now need another one exactly that: square and plastic with a blue gasket (or rubber band) and snap locks shaped like a bench for a glass container that came in a tupperware set. If you've seen one and know what I'm talking about or if you have one EXACTLY like this, please let me know where I can find one just like this without the container.
