Sorry if this is a stupid question. I feel like tackling is definitely something that players work on in training, so is there a reason we can’t give a player individual tackling training in the game?

I’ve been steadily getting worse for the 2 and a half years I’ve had this illness, but since the heatwave here started it’s been absolutely awful on my stomach. I don’t know the science behind it, if there is any, so is this a common thing? I’ve been completely unable to sleep because of my stomach giving me so much grief, even with my sleep meds and anti emetics.

I’m managing Partizan in Serbia. We have exceptional youth recruitment, spent money upgrading youth facilities to state of the art, a very good HOYD with a professional personality (he has 20 working with youngsters, 15 adaptability, 19 JPA and 20 JPP). Yet in the 10 years I’ve managed the club, we’ve had only 3 players come through that actually amounted to anything. It’s just cricket players every year. Is there anything else I’m missing that I can do to bring in players that have actually kicked a ball before?

I’m not expecting every player to come through to be brilliant of course, I just want to be able to use my academy to have homegrown talent in the squad.
