Some genius came up with /roll 99 being greed and /roll (100) being need

I feel this is gaining a lot of traction, first saw people in the beta suggesting it and a few parties had heard of it.

Genius idea imo, should be standard in every party!

SwiftKey predictions/autocapitalisation stop working when adding a contact on Pixel

https://preview.redd.it/rsukus1s7dkh1.png?width=912&format=png&auto=webp&s=f04411389c7993f864076d8704138d8738508a08

This has been bugging me across my last two Pixel phones, so it doesn't seem to be specific to one device.

When I add a new contact and tap into the First name field, SwiftKey seems to completely lose track of what kind of field I'm typing in:

  • The prediction/suggestion bar disappears.
  • It doesn't automatically capitalise the first letter of the name.
  • Normal SwiftKey predictions/autocapitalisation work fine everywhere else.

I've attached a screenshot showing the screen where it happens.

I tested the exact same field by tapping the globe icon and switching from Microsoft SwiftKey to Gboard. Gboard immediately behaves normally — suggestions appear and the name is capitalised correctly.

Switching back to SwiftKey in the same field causes the problem again.

So this looks like some kind of SwiftKey / Google Contacts input-field compatibility issue, rather than a general keyboard setting or Pixel problem.

It's persisted through two different Pixel phones, presumably because I've had the same SwiftKey + Google Contacts combination on both.

Has anyone else seen this, or found a fix/workaround that doesn't involve switching to Gboard permanently?

And yes I used chat-gpt to summarise this bug because it saved me some time having used it diagnosticially

[####] Potential Improvements (!)

I love Wordle. And I hate Wordle. Primarily because it frustrates me.

I feel that with a couple of minor changes the game would be a lot more fun to play, and wouldn't feel as cheap.

Given the constraint that words are not reused (until they are!) I feel like if you guess a word that's not possible it shouldn't cost you a turn. You should instead get a message that says this word has already been used.

We've all been there where you guess a word and have four of the five letters correct (usually the first or last four) and then you're in a crapshoot with whatever the missing letter might be. There's no skill at this point, just luck. A very easy way to resolve this would be - in addition to point 1 - for the puzzles to be ordered alphabetically.

For example:

Let's say you are looking at a board that has

> [?] [I] [G] [H] [T]

The possibilities are

> bight
> fight
> light
> might
> night
> right
> sight
> tight
> wight

So you would try to solve using BIGHT first, and then FIGHT etc.

And you could do so safely knowing that if you guess BIGHT and it's already been done, you won't lose a turn.

Anyway just a couple of thoughts on things that infuriate me about this otherwise quite cool game
