Is it desperate and pathetic of me to ask for someone to give me a thumbs up??

Is it desperate and pathetic of me to ask for someone to give me a thumbs up??

I'm new so I don't have too much customer feedback, but I did have one aggressive customer that gave me a thumbs down and now I'm at 94%.

She literally threw the bag at me because it was late. The restaurant was the one that didn't start making the order until I got there but the customer thought it was my fault it was late. I reported her to Uber Eats but they said they can't do anything about customer feedback.

I'm wondering what I need to do to get back to 95%. Any suggestions would be great! Definitely a lesson learned for this newbie!

Happy Friday to everyone! Except this guy who brought my rating down to 4.99 😂

Not you, sir! I hope your weekend is filled with minor inconveniences. I hope you lose one sock in the dryer. I hope you hit every single red light. I hope your remote runs out of batteries. I hope you drop your keys right when you get to your front door. And most of all, I hope you wake up a few minutes before your alarm goes off! 😂

Hey GrubHub Drivers! I've been on a waitlist for GrubHub for almost a year now and it feels off. It's the only app that still hasn't given me the green light. I deliver for several others in the area and is GrubHub really that busy or backed up??

Thanks for any heads up that you can provide! Appreciate it!

I'm new! So I apologize if this is no big deal to the Uber Eats veterans. I'm not sure if I should even care about one thumbs down, or if it really matters and I'm going to get deactivated or something.

I had a pick up from a restaurant that is notoriously backed up so I was sitting there waiting for the order and the customer kept telling me that she's been waiting forever and she's hungry and I need to bring the food right away. I called Uber Eats to let them know that I was still waiting at the restaurant. They said no problem, we'll let the customer know.

When I finally brought the food to her home, she came out and grabbed the bag from me and went back in the house. I'm just doing as a side gig to my actual day job... but damn, no driver should ever be treated like this. People can be so rude and entitled!

It really sucks that nothing can be done when one customer is angry at you and gives you a thumbs down (because it was my fault the restaurant was busy) and now I'm trending down! LOL
