Another armbar drive pocket clip post.

This is mainly for the inclusion of an FYI for anyone wondering what size clip will fit. The leatherman two screw stainless replacement clip shown has holes which line up perfectly with the existing holes in the armbar drive tool. Used two 2.5mm sliding nuts from eurorack rails, and a couple 2.5mm screws. While not 100% necessary, One screws needs a little bit of filing to allow the scissors to sit fully flush. Or just use a shorter screw. 10 seconds with a bastard file did the job.

Addac112 looper. Need bit of help with the process of recording multiple loops to a bank..

Using Latest stable firmware: 2.x

So I can record and save and I keep making a mess..I'm trying to clean up my process with some clear steps I can write down and get consistent results.

I'm confused between record, new record, and let's say I have a couple loops recorded and then I mess up the third recording..to delete the third one without accidentally erasing the first two..and then continuing on with 3 and then 4 ect..

From there, then to properly save and not make extra banks.. new, save in new, update..man.

And the presets are just for the granular settings right? They are completely independent of the banks so preset 2 will apply the same granular setting to both banks 1 and 2, correct or no?

Im aware of the manual and have read and referenced but it's not helping me get it down accurately and consistently. looking for someone fluent with the process that can give clear instructions.

Thank you.

Doepfer a-155-2 mini sequencer question.

Not sure if I'm doing it wrong or if the Google robot response is correct..but does this sequencer store the CV note values or not? I'm digging into the instructions on how to use the program function modes for saving and loading stored patterns, but I can't seem to get it to do the knob cv changes. That's a complete surprise to me if it doesn't store them..

Maybe I'm old and stupid..but can you see any discernible logic or pattern to the ins/outs on this module?

I feel like I'm having a stroke. I usually can look at a module and go..ok that makes sense and I can mostly remember/work with the layout without having to think about it too much.. but this seems almost deliberately obtuse or am I mistaken and missing something?

Are these ai summary/overview videos of eurorack modules being made automatically?

I'm sure some of y'all have come across them but if you haven't it's just a fake voice going over the general features combined with unrelated images.. my instinct was to report it for wasting water but I didn't see any related rules it went against on yt platform..

Just wondering if these are being made at someone's decision or if at this point the process is automated and ai channels shit them out and upload them for clicks whenever a new thing exists. Synth modules are so niche, if it's happening with them I can't imagine the scope when considering all consumer products..

Damage to trunk on our willow oak by a falling branch while being trimmed. Do I need to do anything for it or it'll be fine?

The scar is less than 12" greater than 6" . I'm mainly asking because the surface below the bark is a little exposed and I wouldn't mind taking preventative measures if necessary to avoid external harm by bugs/fungus/disease. Tree is obviously well established and is right at 100 feet tall.

Thanks !

I'm more of a camera and lens person and I don't know much about microscopes. I got this for basically free in the industry I work in. The scope and lights and objectives work, minus the missing computer equipment..but there's no easy way forward in trying to capture images from it and it's an absolute beast in weight and size and honestly I just don't have the space for it. I believe the Internet said the magnification is around 40 microns. Is that common amongst affordable scopes?

So my question is: of the modern hobbyist scopes available out there in the $500ish range, can I get anywhere remotely close to the magnification of this scope plus capture images?

I've primarily been using it in Orange mode, round robin I believe it's called, and I haven't had a lot of meaningful deliberate success patching melodic changes with a sequencer. What I'm hearing when I try to use v/Oct is more discordant and seems to get away from whatever turning I started with.

I admit the cause and effects and results of the some configurations and turned knobs are still mysterious to me so I may just be doing it wrong when it comes to sequencing it.. but any tips on taming the sound you may have figured out are welcome.

User experience with how well they work for reset on sequencers?

And for using them in a jack for CV control..is there a ramp up of voltage at all similar to prspnt for example, or is it instantaneous?

Thanks!
