my situation is a bit unique. i recently accepted an offer in Los angeles and quite recently, i was notified that my roommate will not be renewing our lease here in LA. i was blindsided hearing this, so rather than trying to find a new apartment, I’d like to transfer to a different office (where my family is located) and stay with them instead. i’d like to stay in los angeles but the rent here is ridiculously expensive and i want the best for myself.
i reached out to the hiring manager about an office transfer this morning but haven’t heard back yet.
does anyone have any experience doing this?
