A very improvised scenario, thrown together for my 7 year old daughter and my 5 yesr old son.
Unicorns try to rescue the hurt pony. (Daughter)
Hunters try to get the pony as well with their nets. (Me)
The dinos just want to eat everyone. (Son)
Still in the intro campaign, but thought it would be fun to experiment with some paper vehicles and the vehicle rules from tactics.
Anyone has put a cosmic horror emphasize on any of its campaigns?

If modifiers would create a 7+ shot, is the shot impossible or are natural 6s still hit?

I’m testing a small house rule to make vertical terrain more useful, especially for aggressive enemies.
Drop Attack
A model may perform a Drop Attack if it is at least 3 cm above an enemy model and can be placed in contact with the target after the jump.
Instead of the attacker taking fall damage, the target takes the impact hit:
Damage +0
Damage +1 if the attacker has a melee weapon
Roll damage against the target as normal.
If the target is not taken out as a casualty, the attacker also suffers a Damage +0 hit from the bad landing.
The attacker does not get any weapon bonus on this roll.
After two days of paper terrain building, I might be ready to tackle the intro campaign in Trailblazers Toolkit.
