New 26 GT hemi

Wife purchased her new 26 gt plus hemi with blacktop package yesterday for 44895 OTD including taxes and fees.

Love the interior but it is very quiet compared to her 2018 Dodge charger R/T.

What are some ways to open her up a bit more on start up but not abnoxious during normal day to day driving.

Also we purchased the car in Virginia, but we live in NC we don't need front license plate. What can I do to plug up the holes from the license plate holder.

New 26 Dodge Durango

My wife and I will be purchasing this new 26 gt hemi durango with plus package and blacktop. They said it was a loaner model but never registered.

We got the final OTD price at 45895. Is that good deal or should I try and negotiate some more? We have already been approved and will be driving 4 hours to pick it up early tomorrow morning.

She is excited and I am also excited because I get to keep her old vehicle which is a 2018 Dodge charger R/T

Check engine code P1D92

My wifes 2018 Dodge charger R/T has 162xxx miles. We have owned the car back sinc3 2019 with 17k miles.

At 106xxx miles we got a check Engine light with a transmission code got the fluid changed and going into reverse would jerk the car now but the transmission shop said it was fine no metal shaving where found and nothing concerning.

Well now when going into to reverse it won't engage sometime and the dash blinks to put it into park and then back into selected gear. It will go into reverse with the thud and after driving into town or and turning it back on. It shift into reverse very smooth

Has anyone had experience with this? I saw Google said it could be a valve body or need a TCM update or just a new transmission.

We do plan on taking it the transmission shop on Monday to for a diagnostic and possibly another fluid change since it has been about 60k miles since the last one.

She just paid of the car last year so really arnt trying to jump back into car payments, did shop around and everything is crazy expensive and would rather just fix up the charger. I know new parts are on backorder and could take a while for a new transmission.

30 going to Rad School

Good morning people of reddit. So basically I am 30 years old married father of two boys and I plan on going to Rad school at my local community college here in North Carolina.

I have already applied to the college and sent in my transcript and i will meet with the advisor next week. I know the community college is based of points from your pre requisites.

I enjoy learning, studying was never am issues for me in high school i graduated high school early and started working and just saw the money and figured I didn't want to go back to school.

I know I can't work full time when doing the program. I plan on still working at my current job during my pre requisites and then if I get accepted into the program, resign and just try to live of my 401k until I'm done with my program.

My question is i guess is how can I stand out more to get accepted into the program? I have been working in a food harvest processing industry since I have graduated high school so about 12 years now. I make pretty decent money average about 60-70k year. I have never considered going into the medical field but I am just burnt out of the current work that I am in. And I have started looking into the radiology tech, or something in the medical field like respiratory therapy, cardiovascular sonography.

Stick shift or automatic?

So I planned a last minute trip to LA California for memorial weekend. I land Friday and leave Monday. Saturday I head up to willow springs racetrack for an event.

My question is I would like to rent a stick shift car for the trip. I want to drive some scenic routes while I'm there but my question is.

Is it that bad to drive a stick shift in LA? i currently daily a stick but I'm from the east coast so I drive mainly highway and back roads and city but we don't have much stop and go traffic but we do hills and can handle hills flawlessly.

I found a gr86 on turo so I loved to drive that and enjoy the views. I also found a automatic Miata.

Which would you recommend.
