Seriously, I’ve noticed so many layouts where there is already a perfectly fine medium-sized vanity mirror or wall mirror, but people *still* go out of their way to squeeze in a giant, full-length, or floorleaning mirror right next to it.
Is it purely for "fit checks" and selfies, or is there a psychological/design reason behind it?

I'm applying for a Master's in Information Technology/Computer Science in Australia, and I'm facing a major issue because I have a 1+ year gap after my bachelor's.
My academics, financials, and other documents are in good shape, but this gap keeps becoming the biggest concern during the admission/Genuine Student (GS) assessment process.
If you had a 1-year or longer gap before starting your master's, could you please share:
What was the reason for your gap?
How did you justify it in your application or GS interview?
What kind of questions were you asked?
What explanation or supporting documents worked for you?
I'm looking for real experiences because this is the only part of my application that's causing serious problems.
