Is this hook too big for longnose gar?

So I go catfishing pretty frequently and have always used a 6/0 octopus branded hook. I have caught a good amount of catfish and longnose gar with 6/0. I dont mind catching either and am down to catch both. I recently swapped to this 7/0 hook and havent really had much luck in being able to hookset properly and I feel like I’ve missed out on a couple longnose gars from how it feels. Do yall think this hook is shaped weirdly/ bad? Should I swap back to 6/0.

The black one is my 6/0 and the silver is my 7/0

My negative uglystik warranty customer service experience:

Submitted a warranty claim because my uglystik catfish rod was defected and cracked my first cast. Here’s how my experience with their customer support has been.

- submitted my warranty claim, provided all info needed
-got AI response saying that they recieved my claim and an agent will contact me shortly

2 WHOLE WEEKS LATER

-agent finally responds, asking for more proof that I purchased it, needed the receipt
-it had been a while since i bought it so i had to call the store and find receipt records and get it reprinted

1 WEEK LATER
- still no response
- I called them to see what was up and was told everything looked good and agent should be responding and finishing processing my refund request in a day.

Now its been 4 days since I was told that

I feel like jt shouldnt be taking almost a month to get my request processed? Uglystik needs to work on their customer support, I’ll keep this thread updated on whether if i ever get a replacement rod or not

Pc was working fine last night but now it isnt posting

My pc was working properly last night but I tried turning it on today and its not posting to my monitor. All the components are fine, all the fans are spinning, but the DRAM and CPU red lights are on, on the mobo. I tried reseating the ram but no luck. Could this be a BIOS thing? What would cause it to not post overnight after working perfectly fine for the past 2 years. I have the 7800x3d, 32gb ddr5, asrock b650 pro rs, rtx 3070

Faceit is a garbage platform

No matter what undercover paid faceit employees on reddit tell you, LOSERS QUEUE IS REAL, NA IS DEAD, LVL 2’s can SOLO QUEUE AND END UP IN A LVL 9 LOBBY. There is no fair queue they just throw whoever into a lobby. WORST matchmaking possible. PREMIUM IS ASS DO NOT GIVE THEM A CENT. WORST BULLSHIT POSSIBLE. MY game had 2 leavers, I topfragged and still lost 21 elo, WHY TF AM I STILL LOSING THAT MUCH ELO, IT SHOULD BE NEGATED IF WE LOSE WITH 2 LEAVERS
