anyone have a better experience with breastfeeding the 2nd baby vs the first?

i’m not yet pregnant again but we’re planning on TTC later this year. i have a 21mo son, and my breastfeeding journey was horrible. i directly nursed (but not exclusively, dad was giving formula) for the first two months, then i couldn’t take it anymore and switched to pumping only. he would eat breastmilk and also formula. eventually at around 6mo i stopped pumping and switched to only formula. i hated everything about pumping. it was so overstimulating and im pretty sure i had DMER. i wanted so badly to just exclusively breastfeed but it just wasn’t in the cards for me. and thats ok. but i want to try again with my next baby but im so scared to have the same experience. i told my husband that next time ill try again to breastfeed but i may quit sooner if it doesn’t workout and not pump to save myself some sanity.

anyone have a bad breastfeeding journey with one kid and a better/more successful one with later kids? tell me all the stories!

not seeking medical advice, just looking for tips from people who have gone through similar.

i’ve been doing rounds of saline and nose frida for over a week now. also have been doing rounds of mommys bliss cough syrup & mucus herbal medicine. his nose still leaks, voice still squeaks, still coughs endlessly. no other symptoms! no fever or lethargy or anything. what else can i try?? anyone go through similar ?

anyone’s kid currently go to richneck elementary? how is it?

anyone’s child currently or formerly attend richneck elementary post-incident? i’m looking at a few houses for sale and a lot of the ones in our price range go to richneck elementary. my child will start elementary school in 3 years, and i plan on moving this year to the area and staying for 5-10yrs, so im trying to get a feel for how the school is currently. i assume they would be in their p’s and q’s since the incident but i don’t know anyone who’s child attends there to know for sure.

any other elementary schools that you personally have experience with (child attends or if you’re a teacher, etc) that would be best in the area?

our 5th wedding anniversary is the day before mother’s day. i am a SAHM so i don’t have a huge budget but also don’t want to get something special ordered because he will see it on the bank statement, so something from walmart or target would be best.

he’s not super sentimental so a framed thing with names and whatnot isn’t his thing.

we’ve been together 11 years total so i’ve already gotten him everything under the sun over the years. i’ve only been a SAHM for less than 2 years so this budget is new to me. i already got him a custom car air freshener with our sons face on it that i know he will get a kick out of, but i want something else to give him too

i already know he is going to be spending a lot of money that weekend for our anniversary and also mother’s day. i just want something special to give in return.

lately the only way i can get veggies into my boy (20mo) is to add spinach to eggs, and pouches. he’s starting to get tired of the spinach eggs though and is starting to refuse it. sometimes he will eat roasted carrots if i add honey and spices before roasting. and he loves sweet potatoes. my question is more for greens though.

pictured is a breakfast meal when i wasn’t being lazy that particular morning: eggs with spinach, sausage links, strawberries. he devoured it. most mornings i am lazy though.
