Our Neighbor keeps throwing cigarettes in our balcony

We just moved into a new apartment and every morning we see 2-3 cigarette stubs on our balcony. We’ve tried to be cooperative and discard them in the past days, but it’s not stopping and keeps repeating.

Has anyone else encountered this sort of behaviour? We’ll try talking to them once we see them but is there a legal basis to ask them to discontinue this sort of discarding of waste in our balcony?

Should we raise this with the hausmeister or landlord?

ALR 5 SRAM Apex mechanical 1x12 vs ALR 4 Cues 1x11

Buying a gravel bike for my partner and have the option of Apex Mechanical 1x12 on the ALR5 or CUES 1x11 on ALR4. Is ALR 4 a better choice over ALR5?

I’ve got the Apex AXS 1x12 on my SL5 which is great, but I’m hearing that Apex mechanical is quite a different experience and potentially a worse shifting experience than Cues supposedly smoother.

Is this accurate at all? Eager to hear your thoughts

Thanks

New job reporting to a CMO - what should I know and game plan (I will not promote)

I have a considerable amount of experience but never directly worked for a CMO at a medium-sized Fintech. It’s also a very hands-on role as a director.

What should I know about this type of strategy and ops role. I’ve done the work at all levels but need the muscle to build relationships, surface what matters and show up with a leader’s as opposed to a problem solver who’s always been in the trenches (atleast that’s what a lot of people seem to be doing at director level roles)

Is there a basic AI financial planner or excel sheet based on German life planning benchmarks?

Dont need anything precise, mostly ballpark estimates based on common % or benchmarks

Urgent Help - landlord offered a mouldy, smelly, dirty apartment for rent - nothing like photos

We’re being forced by a corporate landlord to take the apartment as it is OR pick an apartment over €450 more in monthly rent OR terminate our lease at short notice, forcing us to given them a decision by tomorrow end of day.

We would like to contest this as it’s clearly anti-tenant. Is there any way we can get an urgent appointment tomorrow at the Mieterverein or Mieterbund?

The landlord admitted to not carrying out the inspection and called our unfortunate while framing our follow-ups to their calls as insistence to speed up the process.

In the days before, even though we had an appointment to view the apartment, they abruptly cancelled it without any reason provided.

We have moved from Berlin with all our stuff incurring costs of moving and we’ve given up our Berlin apartment.

Doing this for the first time we are moving out of Berlin and wondering if we need a permit for our moving company to load and unload things form our apartment?

This usually takes a couple of weeks in Berlin. Are there any alternative workarounds like going to the Office of the traffic controller or something similar?

Or is it worth the risk to just do it anyway? If so, any idea what the fines are like in case it gets flagged

Are mind maps a contextual feature that only show up for certain types of queries/sources?

I can’t seem to find the option to generate a mind map - I’m on Gemini pro
