🟦Did it really happen?

At first I thought I‘m seeing a white axolotl with some shadow. OMG… that’s after 12600 days in this world…

Brewstand block palette?

Did anyone ever created a block palette based on the brewing stand? Or used its color as an inspiration for a build?

I plan on building a brewing house with a wall that makes its function visible from afar.

Building a base or a decorative build?

I am playing on a new realm, great fun, everything is exiting the first few days. Now people are starting to settle, claim territories, build bases...

My first goal is to add a decorative build to the world with some lore. I started building a village in a unique spot. But I still need a base. Where do I put my stuff? Under the small houses? Next to the build, far from the build? Don't want to intrude on my build with my player needs, but also don't want to have my material far away.

Happy to hear your thoughts.

Street design?

I want to connect my settlements with roads. I‘m big on lore, so making it look fitting the builds and terrain is important to me. Planning on using the streets too, want to travel more by horse. Mostly going for a vibe of classic minecraft/medieval/old town.

I built some roads that are mainly 3 block wide stone bricks or deepslate bricks.

* My main question: stone streets can get visually dominant fast Dirt road is too simple though. Any middle ground that feels finished yet is visually appealing/unobtrusive?

* how to combine different street styles. One town might have a different street style than another. How to connect them seamlessly?

Rheinschwimmen soon?

10 days of ~30° outside.

Any informed guesses on when the Rhine will be warm enough for a swim?

Guests in your forever world

For those that play alone and sometimes get stuck or bored, my suggestion is to invite someone and play together for a while.

My kid sometimes joins me in my world, we go to a new place, build a few houses, collect some animals, have some adventures. By the time she gets bored, I have a ton of new ideas, new material combinations she thought of, connecting the settlement to my other builds and on and on.

I am trying to raid an ancient city. I always end up with the warden killing me.

I watched and read guides (eg the tutorial on the wiki), and it is said that "When a sculk shrieker activates, it starts shrieking and increases the player's "warning level" but it does not actually spawn a warden right away. It does so after its shrieking has finished, if the "warning level" is at four."

I was hoping I could somehow hear the first 3 warnings and then retreat. But there is always some kind of sounds - even when I am not moving, some sensor going off because bats or whatever. I can't distinguish a shrieker warning from other sounds.

Got any advice?
