I’m away from home so I can’t post a photo but I’ve had mine for an extremely long period of time. I even lost it for a couple years and luckily found it in my bed frame in between my mattress. I was a kid at the time so it adds up. From scrolling this sub I’ve found that this is very rare and I was wondering if anyone else has had theres for that long as well?

I actually almost decommissioned it when I got a new iPad but it happened that it wasn’t compatible with the gen 2 so I just kept on using it. I haven’t had any problems with it spare losing the charger cap and just getting a third party cap. I’ve used and abused it so I count myself very lucky and I’m hoping it will last many more years❤️

I’m looking for a brand of screen/digitizer (not including lcd) that is compatible with an official 1st generation apple pencil. I have an iPad 10th gen. Please please please let me know of your experience replacing your screen and if you didn’t have any issues with your apple pen compatibility because I would love to know the brand or site. I’m trying to find a commercial or video that went around a while ago that did the solfège where each note was represented by a little guy (they kind of looked like the cartoon nerds candy guys) and the note at the end was flat and the little guy who made that note got squished because he was “flat”. After that all of them say no in repetition and from what I remember the screen at the end says “Don’t Be Flat”. It scratched my brain in a different kinda way and I am desperately trying to find it
