Just as the topic says. I really like reading other characters reactions to MC or MC and RO. I especially like it when it's another RO.

Im also looking for recs where the ro secretly has it bad for MC, and its obvious. Bonus if you can play an oblivious MC.

Please and thank you! Bonus if it includes ro pov. I prefer titles that have at least a decent chunk of story written. Just more than like a chapter or two. I'm running out of titles.

I have started playing infamous and it is a nonstop roller coaster. I have feelings about this title and the characters lol.

I dont really know how to flair this, but I wanted to take a quick second to mention how much I appreciate this community. I'm in a fair amount of reddit communities, and while many are supportive, there isn't quite the same non-judgemental vibe that this community has.

I also appreciate that people here can separate real life from fiction here in that I can say request titles with red flag ROs and the response overwhelmingly is 'Yeah, I got you, boss!'. I don't have to explain myself it's just generally understood that it's just a flavor I'm looking for and not a reflection of who we are as people. That's pretty rare on the internet, and I really want to highlight that it's pretty special!

I love to seeing repeat commenters where I actually recognize people from post to post, and gradually in my head build a vague understanding of what yall enjoy even if we've never directly talked.

And finally, I want to highlight those absolute lunatics who go above and beyond on their comments including hyperlinks and synopsis for their answers. Sometimes yalls replies be long as hell and you never fail to impress! You're appreciated and I see the effort you put in for literally no gain!

Anyways, this has been a general weird rant about how much I like you guys and that most of us here are weirdos but like complimentary weirdos and i just appreciate everyone's contribution.

Last month I made a post asking for deranged red flaggy ro options and yall brought the sauce! Not in a gross way.... terrible phrasing on my part but anyways!! I realized belatedly that I left my request too open ended. Where I was wanting more mild derangement and obsessive tendencies I got some very heavy hitting red flags. That's not a bad thing. I did enjoy many of those stories, but now im back to try and get recs for lighter to moderate red flags excluding blatant villains (identified that way or not).

I'll list some of the ones I've read below and where they fell on the spectrum to give a clearer idea of what I mean. That being said I appreciate all recommendations that yall take the time to mention. Also, looking for stories where I can romance a muscle mommy as a small person that is barely making it through! The list below is in no way comprehensive as I don't have enough braincells left to rub together and remember all of the ones I read. Also, some of my listed red flags only start as red flags. Those are valid too.

The only thing I'm really just not interested are school settings. I just can't get into those now that I'm in my 30s. Feels super weird.

I restarted playing origins yesterday, and this is only my second playthrough. Last time I played was two years ago so my memory is slightly fuzzy.

I feel like I accrued affection with Alistair like shockingly fast. Ive just finished redcliffe, and was moving on to the Dalish area. I noticed he's already at adore. That seems super duper fast pacing wise. Is he normally that easy to romance? I mean I did give him his 1st plot gift as well as two others I found for him. It just feels like the pacing is off for the progress I've made in the game regarding world events.

Am I overthinking this? I dont want to burn through my dialogue contents with Alistair in the first handful of hours in the game... at one point I even bumped his approval down slightly because I was worried the romance arc would outpace the overarching plot and making everything feel weird and out of place.

Idk, im rambling at this point, but it's kind of bugging me? I just feel like he went from interested to adore and in love wildly fast.

Im feeling restless, and despite not having finished Lux (cause I gotta restart again) Im trying to find a one off that is fulfilling.

Honestly, I would love other recommendations for a story that has a solid romance plot line that builds instead of going from 0 to 60. Im hoping there is something out there or even in my library backlog that I can read that's a hidden gem. Id prefer not go diving into a whole new series if possible. Thank you!

Authors can obviously make their game how they want. I'm not denying that, but for the love of God why can't checkpoints be normalized??? I dont even need it for every chapter just like periodically is enough! I am so tired. 😭

I recently left my job because of a toxic work situation, and I genuinely miss helping customers find the products they're looking for. I also miss answering all those odd or quirky questions that crop up even with experienced artists.

I genuinely loved working in art supplies, and getting into the granular details of how different supplies worked. Since quitting I feel really underutilized mentally as I no longer have new customers that need help or old customers calling or emailing to ask questions I can help them navigate.

I don't intend to sound pretentious or like a know-it-all, but if anyone has any general, or even more esoteric, questions regarding art supplies I'd love to help!

I can answer questions regarding traditional watercolor, gouache, Japanese watercolor, acrylics, oils, watercolor pencils/crayons, brushes, paper, pencils, etc. I even have opinions about sharpeners. I also have a fairly robust understanding of art material historical context.

Im partially looking for good games I haven't tried yet that are preferably finished projects, or at least finished books. I prefer to have solid romance options, and I don't care for school settings. Im just too old at this point. It's hard to be in your 30s and read about school age kids and not think of them as well... kids.

But I also want to hear people's genuine opinions about games and what makes or breaks it for them. Im relatively new to IF but did grow up on cyoa goosebumps books when I was a kid.

You can list as much or as little as you want, but please keep it to valid criticisms where possible, or at least qualify why it makes your list. I'll comment mine below though right now I only have vastly overrated. I hope to find some gems.

Edit to include: im using the term overrated, but I mean that in a personal sense. Just about every work has it's audience which is why I'd ideally like to also hear your reasoning behind it.

And this honestly kind of applies to other IF games too. It really bugs me when the RO supposedly is interested / has feelings for MC, but then they high key flirt with other characters. In this case, it bugs me how much Ortega flirts with the puppet. At one point MC is even thinking to themselves about how Ortega never wanted to sleep with them but does want to sleep with puppet (even though MC caught the memory in Argents head teasing Ortega about his crush????)...and like that would literally make me not want to hang out with him? I mean I do love him but.....

Idk, maybe I'm wrong here. This might just be a pet peeve of mine, but it almost turned me off book one cause I was concerned this was going to be the cadence of RO routes. .....but I do love Ortega...but I hate that he does this.
