My poor puppy golden doodle (2 years old)can’t seem to get any relief from itchy paws. I have tried hydrocortisone cream (dog version), fold cream, sulfur soak and some hotspot sprays and nothing is working! His paws don’t smell like Fritos or anything so I don’t think it’s a yeast issue, the vet just says to give him Benadryl but that doesn’t seem to do much either…I’m running out of ideas, any advice?
We also have switched him to chicken-free dry food and make a combo of brown rice, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, green beans and peas with salmon oil mixed in, he’s been on that for over a year and there just is no improvement.
Enjoy
And we couldn’t be happier! Momma and babies are doing great!
Ps, yes I saw the blanket was bunched up and just fixed it. Have a good night all, I haven’t slept in 2 days lol
Right now she’s just very cuddly. She picked out a spot in the closet and she’s just resting on my bed. The vet says she’ll have 4 or 5 and it’s her first (and last) litter so it could be quick or take all night. I’m planning on waking up every couple of hours to check on her and I can keep updating here if anyone wants to follow the post :)
I want to go to a few plant sales today in the area but does anyone know of any that have rare plants or like prize winning plant cuttings? I can drive out of town if needed but I’d like to stay in the area. Thanks for the tips :)
Added the cute animals for your enjoyment!
Or like the better question, can doctors start treating it like one so it gets more attention and they figure out how to cure it? I’m exhausted. It’s been 6 years and I’m no better (in fact worse) than I was when I was diagnosed. I’ve had countless surgeries (over 20) and just spent a week in the hospital for what they thought was pancreatitis but they figure the lab messed up and it was a really bad gp flair. So here’s my plan I think what I’m going to do is stop trying and then if it just gets better on its own, then it gets better and if it doesn’t well, then it doesn’t. I just started a new job and I’m just going to save for a stomach transplant but until then I guess I’m just floating in the wind at the wheel of all of these doctors that have no clue how to help me. I do have a Feeding Tube and as I’ve started using him more often I’ve discovered I’m more reliant on the tube than I was before and this week my food has not been digesting at all so if I call my doctor right now and ask them if they know why my food is not digesting they would say to come in and do more tests or to take a new medication except that they haven’t said that in years or they struggle and say they don’t know. Before I start my journey of giving up does anybody have any idea why I would have something happened that mirrored pancreatitis with my lipase level over 3500 (supposed to be 50) and presented with constant vomiting, diarrhea and extreme nausea? If you have doctors that you can personally recommend and you’ve found to be a really good help please DM me their information and an intern if you have had a stomach transplant, please DM me so that we can talk about what all goes into that and if it works.
