iOS Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience having an abysmal time in the job hunt. Is it my resume?

I have been searching since February of this year. I have 5+ years of experience and at this point I feel as though I've only landed maybe 3 or 4 interviews that ghosted me. Is something wrong with my resume? To my knowledge I am using a parsable format, though I also wanted something somewhat visually appealing. Any help is appreciated!

So what's your P1P1 when you start with one free card?

I had MTGA boot me out of a draft randomly during the draft and let me join a new one. When I did, I had this card lol. It was removed from the pool after the draft ended.

Is Squire Royale the new sweat mode or do I just suck ass now?

Returning to the game after about two years and thought it would be fun to try out some of the Squire Royale mode. It basically feels impossible. I was never fantastic, but I had about 200 hours in and I could usually hold my own in most fights. Now, I feel like I just can't do anything right. Is this mode especially difficult or am I just so rusty?

Made Mythic in limited for the first time after a very solid Pick-Two streak!

Relatedly, I have far more success in Pick-Two than I do in Premier. Is this due to a more casual player pool, or is there something I can glean from that to help me improve in standard draft?

3-0 Prerelease with what felt like a very mediocre deck

Hydra Troopers, Klaw, and John Walker really carried for me. I was excited for the Super Adaptoid and Yellowjacket interaction but I only drew SA once and opponent killed it immediately. Only drew Captain Marvel once and it was countered. Doom Reigns Supreme was disappointing but I think if I had a much more dedicated Villain deck it could’ve been sweet.

If only they could see

For context, opener was Plains, Terramorphic, a Silverquill 2-3-4 curve, and Wilt in the Heat. I popped Terramorphic opp's T1 EoT to grab a Swamp and then drew a Swamp lol. I had 8 more red sources to hit but none to be found in 20 cards. That's Magic baby!

I posted a very mid UW "aggro" deck from Powered Cube here a few days back. After getting great feedback and watching LSV and Paul Cheon videos all week, I took another crack at it and came out with a trophy!

For context I'm currently Plat 3. I'm sure a fair amount of luck went into this trophying (7-2), but I'm proud of it nonetheless and got to enjoy some neat interactions. I can already tell why this format is so addicting and why everyone loves it so much. Can't wait to punt my next 1500 gems.

Edit: Just realized two cards are cut off in that image. The last two cards are Currency Converter and Mind Twist

First powered cube draft was a Swift 0-3, but the deck didn't feel terrible. Am I underestimating what I need to be doing to succeed or did I get unlucky?

For context, I went into this pretty blind (looked at 17lands card data but that's about it) as far as archetypes and such go. I just wanted to see what I could intuit during the draft and how it might go for me. I felt okay about this coming out of the draft; no way did I think this would trophy but I thought I could snag 3-4 wins.

- Game 1 opponent played Ragavan on the play and ripped me apart. My low curve meant he was just double spelling my cards with the treasures.

- Game 2 opponent played t1 Lanowar Elves, t2 Mox and Ouroboroid, t3 Channel -> Vaultborn Tyrant.

- Game 3 opponent played 4 removal spells into an Ugin.

Were my opponents especially hot, or is this the power bar that I need to be meeting to succeed in the format?

Looping Moment of Reckoning was the most fun trophy I've had in the format

6 maps, 1 minor map condition, and 0 major map conditions. There has to be a better way.

This is at 5pm PST. With the amount of map variety now, I think it's wild that a time slot can exist without at least two major map conditions active.

When I see packs like this, I immediately think of signaling and then wonder if I'm putting too much weight on that when considering my pick. Splatter Technique is the best card in the pack on pure winrate, but then the next 3-4 best cards in the pack (Abrade, Impractical Joke, Flow State, maybe Essence Scatter) could potentially lead people down the line into my lane. I might be less concerned about that if Splatter Technique didn't have such a high color commitment, but if I'm going to get to play that card, I probably need to be in some kind of UR shell and I'm likely going to be competing for it.

The opposite end of that logical spectrum is taking Killian's Confidence (I don't think it's worth a P1P1 especially with these options, but just for the hypothetical), putting the next few to my left into UR, and gambling that the people to my right aren't valuing WB and I get a nice open lane.

I ended up somewhere in between, taking the Impractical Joke to leave myself open to WR (Abrade might've also been the pick there, I was split between the two) even though I'd probably lose out on a lot of the good red burn. Based on the outcome of the draft, I'm pretty sure that's what happened (I had a P3P6 choice between Akroma's Will and Restoration Seminar). The outcome of the draft is on the second slide (haven't built the deck yet).

Would love to hear your thoughts on the topic and the pick. I can post the full draft once 17lands populates.
