Hello everyone, I would really like some help from those who are currently attending or have attended UBCO...

So I've been looking into an education planner bc website to start applying to universities, and I was specifically looking into UBCO. I thought that all first year students start off with a faculty and not a specific major, for example like you get into a science faculty and you declare your major at the end of year 1. But on the website, it specifically indicates the program to apply like ex. Zoology - Bachelor of science.

So am I tripping?? Like how does this actually work🥹

Hello everyone, I'm turning grade 12 in September and I was researching about different programs in UNBC when I came up with a question.

I thought there was a program in the Bachelor of Sciences called "Joint mathematics and physics", but when I went into their website, there were just "Mathematics and Statistics" and "Physics" courses separately. Is there no program that has both joined together? And if there is, does anyone know the admission requirements including both the prerequisite courses and volunteer experiences?

I'm currently a student going into grade 12, and I was debating on which major I should choose for my bachelor's. Most people choose biology or biochemistry I believe, but I kind of want to try joint matth and physics major since it will open more paths for me if I don't get into a med school and it also will help me for the physics part of the mcat. Another thing that bugs me is that it won't be easy to get high GPA with this major.

But I'm still not too sure. I heard math and physics majors are extra difficult and most get in here to pursue engineering or robotics, AI, etc.

Hello, does anybody know what kind of healthcare volunteers are accepted for applying to the bachelor's nursing program? Does it have to be an official hospital volunteer, or are home cares and non-profit organizations accepted as well?
