Questions about IM vs SubQ injections, and how frequently should inject

Hello, I’m planning to ask my doctor all these questions as well, but my next appointment isn’t for a little while so I wanted to ask them here first.

Currently my dosage is 2mL once a week, at 20 mg/mL, and I’m doing intramuscular. I started out with the pills, but they weren’t raising my levels high enough so I switched to injections. My doctor has also said we’ll probably continue to raise my dosage, but it needs to be raised slowly. About 4-5 days after I do my injection I start to feel worse emotionally, and start to feel normal again a bit after I do my injection.

So my first question is: Does doing subcutaneous injections result in more stable hormone levels overall? I’ve seen some information that says that doing subcutaneous injections allows the estrogen to be absorbed by your body at a slower rate. So I was wondering if that means it might result in more stable emotions?

My second question is: is it common for people to do their injections more frequently than once a week, and can that be done to help with these symptoms? I’ve seen some people say that they take a slightly lower dose at a more frequent interval.

Feel like I’m starting to slip into hopelessness

Hi, I’ve never been to this sub before, but I’ve been feeling very sad lately and was looking for some comfort, and reading other people’s post here has helped a little bit.

I don’t really want to share too much of my life situation, but after I found out I’m infertile, I convinced myself I didn’t really want kids and that I could still feel fulfilled in my life without that being a part of it.

Now I’m seeing some of the people I grew up with getting married and starting families, and I feel like the vision I had for my life is breaking apart, and all the thoughts I had before were just a way to cope.

I really wish I could be in a happy relationship like the other people I know, but I feel like an inadequate human being because I can’t have kids. I’ve just been crying so much over the past few weeks, and I feel like I have no one to turn to. I’m also pretty sure I’m autistic(not diagnosed) and have a very difficult time connecting with people, and being able to find a partner that understands and accepts me is starting to feel unobtainable.

I’m still telling myself some things to try and keep hope, like “there is someone out there for you” “you can always adopt” “you have other things in your life that you’re still passionate about”. But I just feel like I’m starting to lose hope for my life, and I’m scared that things might never get better.

my playlist just reached 3100 songs, so I want to do the thing where people comment a number and I tell you what song it is

or alternatively, you could comment a song name, and I'll see if it's in my playlist or not.

the playlist is almost entirely vocaloid, but there's also some other stuff
