Question about trade in?

Not sure if I can ask this here; apologies if so.
I’m just trying to see if my old M1 iPad Pro 128GB in Space Grey got a decent, or okay trade in value from Apple’s trade in website.
In the screenshot I posted, you can see the estimated value is $440 (CAD), which is after I did that evaluation just a few minutes ago.

Should I go with that offer, or would selling it myself yield better resale prices?

WPA3 Compatibility mode

I think this is more a legitimate concern rather than a pet peeve, so anyways, I’ve had a Wifi 7 (B30A) linked with a Boost Mini 6E on 3Gbs for a number of months now, and I’m certain at the early days, devices that were capable of WPA3 used it, whilst devices limited to WPA2 used that. Nice and simple, each device selecting the highest security standard they supported. But lately I’ve noticed many WPA3 capable devices falling back to WPA2… only my Wifi7 or 6GHz capable devices stay with WPA3 consistently.
Not sure if this is correct but the settings for the main Wifi7 booster looks like it changed, specifically with the ‘Security mode’ area where only 2 options appear - as seen in my screenshot. This WPA3 Compatibility doesn’t let any of my 2.4&5GHz devices use WPA3 even if some of them, esp Wifi 6 devices clearly support it.

Anyone else have this same issue and any workarounds to let all my WPA3 capable devices - and not just my wifi 6E/7 devices use it??

And before anyone tells me to use my own equipment and not ISP-provided trash, please save it, as I’m trying to save money, so pretty self explanatory…

Canada/Mexico roaming gone?

From what I understood US users with a SIM card were able to roam in either Canada or Mexico if they had a SIM card with them and did not require Wi-Fi to use TextNow services you would just simply roam off a partner network. However, it’s difficult to find information about this roaming and it seems like network coverage is only for the US only am I mistaken here or is roaming still a feature that is available Apologies for the grammar my hands are tied up, and I had to use dictation for this

Activate eSIM inside Canada?

Getting an option to activate an eSIM on my iPhone 16, however I am located in Canada and I feel like it might not work… has anyone successfully activated an eSIM while inside Canada? I’m just thinking without any US network to connect to it won’t work..?

5G now available on Apple Watch?

Are the latest cellular Apple Watch models finally able to connect on 5G instead of just LTE?
If I’m not mistaken that’d make Telus first, for once, among the big 3. Next feature long overdue is International Roaming for smartwatches. Apple has made it available for years now, yet no Canadian smartwatch plan would let you use it independently of its connected smartphone, not even in the US…

Apple SuperDrive compatibility soon?

After seeing trackpads, Magic Keyboards, etc. getting recognized by the iPad for the first time with the 26.5 beta, I tried connecting my Apple SuperDrive and to my surprise it was recognized instantly by my M4 iPad Pro. In my screenshot it says iphone as I wasn’t able to get that pop up again on my iPad, so i tried connecting to my iPhone and pretty much the same as my iPad.

Do y’all think Apple will actually allow us to use MacBook accessories in the near future with iPads, and what possible uses do you think we’ll have, or features you’d like to see?

Operating my 3rd Delta 2 + EB after excellent no nonsense CS from Costco replaced my 1st Delta 2 after an issue arose with one of the rear 3prong AC outlets (NA version).
Anyway, compared with the first 2 that I used - or still am with my 2nd Delta 2 (hopefully it remains problem free), this 3rd Delta 2 that I just received last week is significantly more quiet, as the cooling fans don’t turn on as quickly as the first 2 did even on a small AC load, which was one of the biggest downsides with the Delta 2 for me.

So just curious if anyone has any info about EcoFlow possibly using improved parts that make it run cooler or other reasons for the lower noise? Definitely not as quiet as my Delta 2 Max or River 3 Plus for comparison, but pleasantly more so
