Just doing more candy paint tests and growing the clan.

Blue/chrome is Kaizo Black, Gaia Chrome, Mr Color Clear.

Green/purple is Alclad, Red/Orange is Kaizo.

Finally done. Thanks to everyone who commented this weekend as I was building it. I decided to go all the way with weathering, but it's only my second time doing so - I'd like to think it turned out OK. Questions and feedback welcome!

Still a lot more decals to add but probably at a stopping point for the weekend. About 5 days of continuous work.

30 bucks a bottle prethinned but 1-2 ml is enough to do a whole runner. Goes on perfectly smooth, dries instantly. Absolutely beats the pants off the other stuff I've tried (notably Alclad and Kaizo)

The people have spoken, so I went with the grunt head. Lots of Gaia paint and a candy red I am finally happy with.

My paint collection has grown too huge. Lots of random thinners, different brands, a ton of stuff prethinned in 120ml bottles.

I'm going to be briefly moving everything to redo the carpet and when I move back I'd like to do a reset. Any of you fine folks have suggestions or tips?

Testing candy paints. Red and orange is Kaizo, Purple and Green is Alclad. The Alclad chrome is better, but the Kaizo clear coat is better.

Dspiae markers for details and Gaia Flat Silver Enamel for panel lines

Frame complete, added some armor to one leg to show the final color.

Kind of the standard IN ERA build experience.
