Looking for very nice seasonal rental for father - question about process

I'm looking at SoFi neighborhood condo sublet for my dad and his caregiver. I've found it's super competitive which I expected but one thing I never expected was a document called a CTL, or contract-to-lease. Is this just a standard down there? So I'm being asked to put up a month's rent (of six total) in advance of the lease signing with this CTL. It's to secure the lease so they know I'm serious supposedly because there are multiple showings. Any advice? Thank you.

These guys just showed up yesterday

Are these guys dangerous? They just showed up yesterday and I’m wondering whether they need to be sprayed or whether they can live out some sort of short life? What is their purpose? Are they pollinators? Thanks for any help.

Question about Oura 5 Oxygen Saturation

Just switched from the 3 to the 5. It's been four nights with it so far. I know the 5 technology is supposed to be superior so I've been looking out for differences. The main thing I've noticed so far is I'm getting lower oxygen saturation numbers on my sleep profile - I've gone from usually 97-99 with the 3 to 92 with the 5. Does anyone know why this would be and is it worrisome? Thanks!

Recurrent small corns on both feet

I keep getting these on the outer side of my feet - especially when I'm jogging regularly and especially on my left foot - it doesn't matter which running shoe I wear. Should I use a gel pad or moleskin perhaps? Any ideas? Eventually when they get big I remove them but they're painful in the meantime and I'm hoping there's a solution. Ideally I'd apply some sort of pad to slow their growth, that I wouldn't have to fiddle with every day or replace every time I shower. I can't stand the Dr. Scholl's corn pads with the cut-out as they never stay on my feet, although they're the perfect shape they're just too annoying. I don't get how they have so many stars on Amazon. Thank you for any help/advice!

Thanks to all who mentioned the Amex $200 credit

Not sure whose post it was but thank you to those who mentioned the Amex credit for Oura purchase! It was an "I love Reddit" moment.

Aside from looks and comfort…

How’s the 5? Any unexpected changes in stats for better or worse? Any new capabilities?

Nutrition related question… Do these issues really matter?

female. Always been very active, Vegan for 12 years. my iron and my ferritin have been low and my HBA1C has been rising. Well, thanks to Reddit, I may have pieced some things together and I wanted to lay it out here to see if there is general agreement that this could all make sense. I love my coffee and was always drinking coffee with my meals, and there is some indication that coffee inhibits the absorption of non-heme iron which could be the reason my iron levels have fallen off. Now today I have read that low iron levels can cause HBA1C to rise so it seems all of my issues might be due to my nutritional mistakes with coffee and tea consumption along with my meals. Could this really be the case? My HbA1c went from a typical 5.6 and is now at six. My glucose was at 98. My iron levels were way below normal…

I just determined I have to be out of state a lot to care for relatives. It's about time to open my pool. Do I have to pay to open, close and service pool all summer? I don't want to damage it and some posts have suggested I'll just have more expenses next summer when I do open it. I was thinking I could open it later and close it earlier but then I wouldn't be here which might prove problematic if there are any electrical or equipment issues and they need house access (to the panel). Thanks for the advice!
