Personal opinion as someone who as used all 3 is that the phone is superior in terms of overall workflow. Holding the phone in between 2 hands, all the controls are right there and navigation is the quickest. Of course there are pros with the tablet and laptop like a bigger screen and better plugins. But overall workflow-wise, it’s the phone for me. What do yall think?

Any tips or tricks on how to do this? Rolls alone are easy and my method is to use the division step component. But to have each note in the roll descend or ascend in pitch is challenging

Current methods:
- step components (pitch bend up/down): this works ok but not much control
- arpeggiator: works ok too, but hihats need their own track. can be tough to time right when recording
