Interactive kid’s book (early 2000’s) with plush dog on a string

My sister and I have been trying to remember the name of a book our mom read to us as kids (about 25 years ago, so early 2000’s) for YEARS now.

It was about a dog who I’m pretty sure was named Poppy, and Poppy was a puppy who was running all over the place (under/over a log, through the mud, etc) and had to go home for a bath. The book had a toy that was attached to a string where you would pull it across the pages to “jump over the log” and follow along with the book. The toy would vibrate and shake and go back to its original place.

The dog was a light brown colour with white spots around the eyes. Shaped like a fuzzy little potato. The pages of the book had a hole cutout so the dog could interact with each page and was protected by a clear plastic shell on cover of the book.

I vaguely recall there being something about a fence that was potentially broken and the cover page having the typical children’s book style of artwork with grass and a river, but I could be remembering these two things wrong.

It would mean a lot to my sister and I if someone could help us find the book. I’ve googled so many terms and phrases trying to find it but nothing close is showing up at all.

Scared for my health but it’s been so hard to stop.

I mostly just need to vent. But I realize I may also need advice and support as well.

I’m 30 years old and have been a smoker for half of my life. I started vaping because I didn’t want to smell like an ashtray anymore, starting a few years ago, and ever since I just know that my lungs are even worse off than they had been from cigarettes. The vapes absolutely screwed with my health more than traditional cigarettes.

I am constantly sick with a sore throat, coughing sometimes to the point of throwing up, and easily out of breath. My mom, who has been smoking for 50+ years and was a pack a day smoker, tried my vape and almost passed out from the head rush. Which, to me, seems very telling how much worse vaping can be.

My mom was recently admitted to the hospital for respiratory distress. They asked about COPD and other related diseases that could stem from lung damage primarily due to smoking. She was put on oxygen and thankfully did recover, and had subsequently quit smoking cold turkey. I am so scared I will end up like my parents with preventable diseases and I know deep down that my body is in horrible condition due to my life choices, one of which is the vaping. I don’t want to quit as a response to declining health like my parents did, but as a prevention. I am so scared I’ll end up like them.

I keep asking myself, if my mom can do it, why can’t I? Granted, this is the first time I’ve ever seriously considered quitting, let alone actually trying/wanting to, but I truthfully did not expect it to be this hard. I could go days without a cigarette, but vaping? Completely different story. I’ve been eating like 10 popsicles a day to try and curb the habit and comfort of the hand to mouth oral aspect, but still find myself reaching for the vape. I recently bought the nicotine gum and tried that yesterday. I was literally vaping WHILE CHEWING THE GUM??? Absolute clown behaviour.

I know I should just throw them away so the temptation is removed but I can’t bring myself to. The little voice in the back of my mind just says “but what if you need it? You’ll be mad if you throw it away and don’t have it”. I planned to keep them until the battery dies (disposable) and just never replace them. But idk if that’s a stupid plan. I feel like I need to figure out the most prevalent reason apart from addiction (hand to mouth action, comfort, habit, oral fixation, etc) and find a replacement. I’m just really struggling and kind of hate myself right now lol

Bugs seem to be attracted to my cats wet food???

They showed up around this time last year (Southern ON, Canada) and are back again. They seem to be attracted to my cat’s wet food. They’re also sneaky quick and produce what looks like blood when smushed. I mostly just want to know what they are and if they’re harmful to my cat in any way?

Size increase mod for barns/coops???

Not to be dramatic but this set up has actually PMO more than anything I have ever experienced in my entire life.

I am DETERMINED to have one of each colour variant per animal. I’ve been searching for a mod that increases barn/coop capacity but can’t seem to find one that will house all types/colours per species without separating them.

My initial plan was to have one of each animal colour, but as I understand breeding I will need 2 silver of each gender to produce tier 5 gold, and 2 gold of each gender to produce the seasonal tier 6 animals. So I guess I am looking for a mod that will house 17+ animals per barn/coop.

I just want all my duckies together and all my moo cows together and not split up in different homes :(

Does anyone have a recommendation or maybe someone here is working on a mod for this? Pls help me keep my little animals together

Brazilian wax & a big butt

TMI but not sure where else to ask for advice or how to mention this to my sugarista.

I recently got a Brazilian sugar wax for the first time and noticed some spots were missed. Specifically between the vagina and butt. The hair was quite long so I think it just wasn’t possible to get up in there and remove the hair thoroughly as opposed to it being too short.

She had me lay down and do the butterfly legs, and when it came to the backside, lay on my side and lift my cheek up with one hand. Neither of these positions seem to expose that area enough for it to be waxed properly.

I was poking around down there and sort of figuring out how to position myself so my sugarista would have access to that area, but realized doing so would leave me very exposed and would still be rather difficult. Now I have no problem bringing this up but idk how to mention “hey last time you missed my taint” or what sort of position/solution she might come up with. I would just like to be prepared I guess so I’m hoping some other women might have some advice/tips for me please :)

Are there any other young and single women using CPAP?

I have a prescription for a CPAP, but I haven’t picked it up yet. It’s been like a year. I know it’s a stereotype that sleep apnea only happens to old obese men, but I can’t help but feel SO unattractive using a CPAP, especially as a woman.

Like I’m scared to start dating someone and have them spend the night for the first time and I’m just fully pap’d up next to them? I know the “right person” won’t care and would prefer I be able to breathe, but it’s hard getting past this feeling and I think it’s just exacerbated by being a young woman. I don’t know how to feel better about this.
