What’s taking over my lawn?
Would love some help identifying this plant that is taking over my backyard?
For what it’s worth, I’m not particularly concern about having an all grass lawn. I’m more concerned with biodiversity, native ground covers, etc. I’m located in 4b / the northern Rockies.

Exterior security camera recs that aren’t completely going to violate my data privacy?
I would like to get an exterior security camera for my house (probably several to cover all my exterior doors) but have been avoiding it after hearing about Ring illegally collecting facial recognition data without consent. Are there any other cameras out there that aren’t doing this? Would love any recommendations that you guys have.
Edit: bonus is it isn’t tapped into some AI facial recognition system.

Chronicle gets feisty
