need help finding warmer weather and sun in the winter!! i'm in the pacific northwest

Where roughly ten to twelve hours away from Spokane would be good opportunities to travel for the winter that has sun, no pine trees and ~45 degrees (warmer would be great) ? Desert vines / St. George type thing. Thank you so much.

Ironman route question

Hey I do my daily bike ride down to Riverstone from Meyer on the Centennial Trail. Does anyone know if the racers will be on that route between 9:30 - 10:30? I don’t wanna get yelled at by Lance Armstrong again …

Replacement OEM tank options

I have an XSR700 that the previous owner (Yard built bike) had brushed aluminum look. I’d like to get the stock tank look back. How feasible is it to get that back to OEM?

XSR700 - Good second bike?

I'm on a CB300F (been on it for about 4 years) I'm in my late thirties and I've outgrown my 300 (for highway, etc) and would ideally get into a bike more aesthetically aligned with something I'd pick out (I traded a couple guitars for my 300) and really like the XSR.

I'm not a throttle junkie but I've heard reports of the 700 super easy to wheelie. Is it really that hot or if I've got good throttle control something I don't have to worry about. I'm in a smaller town up in the mountains so mostly canyons and short highway stints.

I'm 5'8'' about 160lbs.

I test road a XSR700 locally for sale and I liked it but I was obviously gentle because it was not my bike.

Coming from a Honda. Can I get a price check? Not sure of the miles yet but can you guys give me a ballpark on this? Not familiar with “yard built”

Can anyone tell ballpark what this lift looks like? Tires are 37s. Looks like a 4” but I can’t tell. Dealership says 6” but they’re not positive.

What is max miles I should look at for a used purchase? Wife wants a beach toy and I don’t want to sink a ton into something. Looking at 2015-18 JKs.

I’ll bring a mechanic etc. but what is the good range of mileage for a used Wrangler pick up?

2003 Hornet 919 vs a modern bike.

So I currently have a 2017 CB300F which I really love. I'm looking at a 919 on Monday to purchase.

My main question is will I miss modern stuff like ABS, etc to get into a 25 year old hornet?

I don't think I will be missing out on much but I want to just gut check here (i've only owned modern bikes)

Clogged black water tank - any suggestions?

I have a 2015 Coachman with a Dometic toilet. The black tank is clogged I think. I can see the water level from the toilet but the tank isn’t really draining (a couple gallons at a time at the most). I did put a couple bottles of Clear It in the tank but I don’t think it really did any good. We never put TP down there or any obvious items that would clog it. Any ideas before I take it to camping world?

Looking to upgrade from a CB300F ABS to either a '07 919 Hornet or '06 599 Hornet...which one realistically is the better bike for me on a 300F

Hey folks, I'm asking here because you all are the best and the brightest and most informed on an opinion on this scenario.

My riding style is pretty balanced. Highway / canyons / don't rip around fast but not afraid of speed.

The 599 is carb'd and the 919 is FI. My 300F is FI.

My main question is for folks who ideally have spent decent time on both. I can gain a good amount of 'tactile' information from the test rides (both scheduled this week) but a lot of the riding dynamics come out over time so I dont want to pick one simply based on a 5 minute test ride.

Does anyone have a hard preference over one or the other?

I'm 5'8'' and 160. I've heard the 919 is a bit taller. Is this going to be too tall?
